beautiful environment and great mood unfortunately was eating tiny portions, very expensive and three of our six Meze dishes were burned. I would not recommend this place and eat here again

The food was amazing. Restaurant was empty (which I found odd given the quality of the food). Music was too loud and not relevant at all to the type of restaurant. Service was ok. I definitely would go back for the food.

unfortunately the service has really left this place. the restaurant looks the part, but our waitress forgets our drinks orders and could not explain the menu. the food was cold (if hot) and the lamb was dry and boiled. all in all, very disappointing. the cocktail was good! Speisekarte ansehen

I thought it was better. the house red wine was the best. Some dishes could have made better. the aubergine was a bit blanding and tasteless, it tasted only from cigarette sticks. the lamb was beautiful like the chicken wings and the hiumi frits. but about the price level for what it is, I was not blown away.

Lovely meal at Jan with good food particularly the hanger steak. Service was good, reasonably priced drinks and lovely ambience. We were advised 3 4 dishes each but 11 between 4 of us was perfect. Tables could do with being slightly bigger but with one taken away to provide more space in between as the waiting staff kept knocking chairs when squeezing past.

The food here is just lovely, refreshing dishes ingredients, which are cooked very well. The menu could be deemed slightly limited, but everything which I’ve ordered from it is just excellent. £30 per head for brunch dish, selection of tapas dishes to share, dessert, tea. This in the third time I've been to Jan which proves i'm a fan...but my most recent visit wasn't good atall. Service was slow, food came in bits over the course of an hour. Two dishes were missing and we communicated this to the staff, despite this the dishes showed up as we were waiting for dessert. Miscommunication between staff members and the error seemed to be our fault. Usually Jan is wonderful so disappointed overall...hopefully this was a one off!

this was our second visit the first was fantastic, great service, great eating, great atmosphere. I don't know if there was a change in the administration or the manager was gone, but the service was bad and they played loud music and not just background music, but bands like the killer it was more like what they would expect in a bar than a nice restaurant. first we thought maybe there was a party in the back room, but the music was only from the to the contrary and seemed more for the staff than the customers. eating was simply a scandal about the service and the music.

Their reservation system made a mistake with our booking so we had to sit at the bar for 45 minutes. Not the end if the world, we just had a cocktail while we waited. Food wise they twice forgot the order of a side salad, the hangar steak was overcooked and the blackened sweet potato was a bit meh. But the homemade hummus was insanely good, the fried haloumi was tasty as hell and the lamb koftas were really good. Overall it had really bad and really good points, so a bit tough to judge. The service was very good and the staff offered us complimentary drinks due to the reservation mistake. So all in all, it was a good evening. Speisekarte ansehen
