Amezing Food every time I’m more excited to go to explore the food .we Traval all the way from London just for this delicious Prawns (Ginga) as per Indian

Third time I’ve been and I love it. It’s an hours drive from my house and I’ll definitely go again. No nonsense, service absolutely fine… and just a massive plate of tasty food at a very reasonable price. Honestly couldn’t fault it!

Fantastic place ,great choice, prawns are tasty and they make them how you want them. Mild , medium , spicy. Busy place also have a shisha a must visit but will need to book in advance . Also meet Amit the magician really good mind blowing all ages will enjoy the tricks he does Speisekarte ansehen

I have eaten in this restaurant before and it was amazing. Today, I got the bus from Ashbourne to Derby. Train from Derby to Leicester, then back to Ashbourne with a takeaway for my Mum and I. The prawns were superb! The sauces were superb as were the chips and rice! Such generous portions too. Gracious and helpful staff. Thankyou! I will be back.

Great place for a different experience. Staff were very attentive without annoying you every five minutes. Food came quickly hot and delicious. Table was set in a certain way and even included a tin bucket apron and plastic gloves. We had the platter for two… omg huge portions …. Came with chips with an amazing spiced salt …. Salad with feta and 3 dips. We also had some mussels in creamy garlic sauce. All of it was absolutely delicious…. Can’t wait to go again.

We always love the spicy Prawns platter and drive all the way from Birmingham every so often! We had a fantastic , thoughtful and very caring customer service from a an amazing staff named Anna. She provided colours for my little 1 year old who was proving to be very challenging on that night of our dinner. My baby became sick suddenly and vomitted. Anna quickly supported us to a another table, wiped and mopped all so effortlessly. She saw the difficulty us parents were having to clean our baby also eat. Though we didnt have our dinner peacefully but our heartly appreciation goes out to Anna for being so caring. Speisekarte ansehen

Popped in while looking for somewhere to eat on the London Road. Was not disappointed. The Chicken Liver starters and Greek salad were excellent. Actually to be truthful the Chicken Livers were some of the best I have ever tasted and the sauce was to die for. The mains we had were just plates of Killer Prawns ,original and Spicy with chips and rice. Really fun to eat and mounds of them. All in all a fantastic meal and we will certainly be going back again. I would definitely recommend this to any hungry seafood lover. My only tiny gripe is that the toilets were not in a state that I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber.

My wife and I wanted to go to some place different so our escort took us to Jimmy’s. We didn’t regret our choice. We had Gratinated prawns as starters and then Jimmy’s Special, consisting of loads of succulent spicy prawns on rice ?paella) and finger chips on the side. The 2 ladies had can drinks but I tried a mocktail with kiwi too sweet for my liking) The food starter and main) were absolutely gorgeous and reminded me of the prawns I ate in Beira, Mozambique and at a restaurant in Johannesburg, called LM Restaurant, over 40 years ago. Went here especially for the prawns!!! Had a table reserved, was very busy, only problem trying to find a parking ticket wardens around. Starters had soup wrong one was given as I ordered the spicy prawn soup, the one given was creamy soup and was bland when the soup arrived mentioned to the waiter it was the wrong one but didn’t change it and said the soup was nice it had few prawns,calamari mussel I think but it was not good as the spicy prawn soup I had previously comes with a small piece of bread. Ordered platter of 36 prawns with rice chips, did ask for spicy but was not really spicy and the quantity didn’t feel like 36 Comes with trio sauces the rice is bland too. Not much for a vegeta...
