Good was amazing, very tasty would definitely recommend. The restaurant just lacked atmosphere as we were the only people in at the time. The speaker phone for takeaways shouting you have a new order every minute is a bit monotonous.

During a weekend getaway in York, we decided to try Jorvic based on the positive reviews we had read. It certainly lived up to the hype! The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. I highly recommend trying the shami starter – it was the best I've ever had.

Ordered a take out from here as it was just down the road from my hotel, I took a chance on the mutton staff curry and OMG what a flavour sensation! Sadly I live in South Wales so won't be able to get delivery very easily . Sorry I couldn't add photos of the food but I ate it all but I did photo the empty pots and left over bones.

ordered by jorvik spice and they are understanding and helpful in terms of what can be veganized from the menu! my absolute favorit is the vegetable bindiya, would recommend to them this curry- I have never found it anywhere else! They were also great by telling us that they use milk in rice, and gave us pure boiled rice, and that the naan uses herghurt so that they chapatis
