fresh. juicy. abundant. large variety. traditional. one of the best. Turkish. umm, I always get the mixed grill with ayran and top it with Turkish tee and baklava. but I highly recommend the lamm / ktikka /Steak dishes (they do not disappoint)

For me and my guest from Germany and Morocco,one of the best Turkish restaurants in London.Fresh from the charcoal grill meat and fish ,at his best!Always friendly service!Bread made on the premise!The only down note is,it is not any more a secret and so always busy!

I have been to Gokyuzu several times for both dinner and a quick lunch. During my most recent visit, I tried the mixed donor with chicken meat that was incredibly tender. Friendly, warm and welcoming in a modern setting. Good selection of traditional Turkish meals including lots of different meze dishes which were my personal favourite. I would highly recommend the mixed grill and the Lahmacun. Generous portion sizes and very good value for money. Definitely worth a visit.

Prettiest restaurant I've been to in a long time. Really nice and clean. Came for my birthday celebrations with family. We had a table full of food including several starters which were all brought out promptly. For 7 of us the bill was £162; bit pricey but for wonderful service (small bill discrepancy that was sorted out for us swiftly) and quality of food it was worth it. Will definitely return

If you're seeking authentic and generous servings of Turkish cuisine, this is the spot to visit. With the large portions offered at low prices, this may become one of my top choices in London. It's recommended to make a reservation as it tends to get crowded (and for good reason). The oversized sharing platters are a standout feature and best enjoyed on an empty stomach. I had never tried Turkish food before, but this experience was amazing. I ordered a mixed kebab plate, which was enough for two people because they provided a large plate of salad and bread before bringing out the main dish. The meat on the plate was fresh, crispy, and well-cooked. They also offered to package up any leftovers. For dessert, I tried the baklava and it was delicious. The restaurant was not too expensive, had fast service, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. They are open until 12 o'clock. - Zara Kayani

gokyuzu is elegant and delicious, it is not some fake fad kebap place that you can overhear in conversations. good for family meals and guest dining if your audience is into Turkish cuisine. at the end of the day, Turkish cuisine is not made of kebap offerings with garlic sauce but has many options in casseroles, salads, deserts and side dishes. more than what you can discover in hipster venues or touristic districts. lahmacun and kebaps are all worth attention, but have your eyes feasted on their serving boards to get some more adventure.

I must hand it to these guys! Delicious meal, good ambiance, friendly staff. Reasonably priced and accessible location. Thanks for creating a nice family dining experience. It was just what we needed after an exhausting day. You can expect a complementary salad served with Turkish bread and a special dip. We had freshly squeezed orange juice, which was cool and refreshing. I ordered a small Chicken Shish meal served with bulgar. My wife had a lamb dish and my daughter had burger with fries. All was good. The only issue I had was that the grilled halloumi cheese that I ordered as a starter was a little bit rubbery, but that's perhaps just me being pick. Overall, a delightful experience!
