Very cozy little pub with amazing food, not to be missed

Very unassuming when you go in but great grub. Gastro pub is a out down, more like restaurant with pub friendliness.

One of my favorite places in Bath! The food is always adventurous and the prices are very affordable. The pub itself is a gem, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. I absolutely love it.

This lovely and inviting pub offers a diverse menu, including traditional pub dishes and a la carte options. They also serve local ales and provide friendly service. We were well taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Delicious food, although the service was a bit lackluster on Mother's Day since the restaurant was quite busy. This is definitely a spot for a slow dining experience. There were moments when a smile from the staff would have been appreciated. However, I can't fault the food at all, and my takeaway bag of three macarons for Mother's Day was a lovely touch. Went here a couple of weeks ago with my family on a Friday night. I don’t remember what everyone else had but my son and I both picked the pie special and it was probably the best pie I have ever eaten. I think it was beef and ale but it was too long ago. The staff were friendly and the decor very welcoming. We’ll be heading back for their famous Sunday roast shortly for sure.

the personal was very courteous without reservation on Easter Sunday. only a set menu was available (not the bar menu we found the starters to be great, almost fine dining room style and the roasts for the main were the best frying dinners we have eaten for a long time. (we are from london and have tried some pub lunches! the restaurant was occupied by 2pm where the service became less attentive, so 4 stars instead of 5. great place for good eating and good wine. £80 for 2 persons 2 courses and wine/coffee
