Kong Sing Chinese Takeaway

Small portions compared to most other chinese takeaways, greasy tasteless food , to top it off ,was cold when we got it home even tho we're only 5 mins away

This was our first time using Kong Sing and I have to say it was a delight. The prawn thai and beef curry were delicious, and the pancake rolls weren't too heavy or oily. The service was very polite...there is nothing to fault here.

The restaurant is hot, serving very tasty dishes with generous portion sizes. The staff are friendly and the food is prepared quickly. I highly recommend trying them out. They even stayed open on a cold snowy night when other places were closed.

I have had takeaway from here a few times and it has always been really good and never been a disappointment. The portion sizes are good compare to most. I had the Salt and Chilie Prawns with chow main, curry sauce. Chicken in Black bean sauce. I was surprised on how many prawns they gave

Easoly the worst chinese I have ever had. The place looked filthy, the staff loomed filthy and the food was just awful. Chicken balls were doughy with a tiny bit of minced chicken in the middle, if that and very greasy. The prawn crackers were stale and the pancake roll was soggy and cold. Never again.

My friend recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and had a great experience. So, I decided to try it myself tonight. I had a delicious hot and sour soup, chicken curry with fried rice, and beef with rice noodles. The portions were generous and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Dover area - don't miss out!

This was our first Chinese takeout experience since the restaurant changed ownership, and unfortunately, the meal was very disappointing. The food was overly greasy, the beef tasted synthetic, and the portions were small. Previously, I would have recommended Kong Sing as a top choice for takeout, as we always received excellent food and service. Hopefully, the new management will address these issues.

After months of great food the owner has sold it on and today was my first try with the new owners. The driver who dropped off the food boasted that the food was great and there chief is from hong kong. Safe to say it was a fail on there part. The food was horrible and greasy the chips where white not even cooked through and the beef was pink inside the side order of curry sauce tasted like it came from a microwave ready meal. Safe to say not a nice experience. And a loss of a customer. Stay clear of this takeaway until they sort the chief out..

Have visited twice since new owners took over, but have experienced no problems as others seem to have. Staff do not seem as friendly as the previous staff, but then again we had seen the front of house staff grow up there. Food? Well my son does not rate the chicken curry which he previously loved. However all of the other dishes we have had since takeover have been good. Sesame Prawn Toast is second only to The Moonflower's in my opinion. Lemon Chicken was very good, Roast Pork Chinese Style is acceptable, fried rice dishes have been very good but the standout dish, not on the menu but a notice on the counter is Salt and Pepper Squid, delicious.
