"We visited this restaurant for our first high-quality meal after it was recommended to us. We were warmly welcomed upon entering, despite not having made a reservation. We decided to go for the 2 for £10.95 menu, which was perfect for lunchtime. I am quite picky when it comes to food, but there was a wide variety to choose from. For starters, I had the deep-fried camembert with cranberry dip, while my partner opted for the chicken meatballs and fish and chips. The presentation of the food was lovely and the portions were just right. The fish and chips were particularly impressive, with crispy batter and juicy fish. My main dish consisted of chicken breast and haggis covered in a creamy whisky sauce, served with mashed potatoes and root vegetables. Everything was cooked perfectly. The only downside was that we were not offered a wine list and had to ask for the specials. I suggest that the specials be written daily and handed to customers instead of relying on memory. Overall, it was a great meal and we will definitely be returning. Thank you!"

absolute love comes here. the best I found in moray. highly recommended. in any case also travel is worth traveling if they are not in forres. amazing eating and generous portions. will be back (again)

Highly recommend the garlic mushroom with puff pastry for starter! Was excellent! If you like mushroom's you are in your dream! The food is very well presented, large portions and not over priced! Will definetly be back!

the food was very busy, and we had not booked, but they managed to find me and my man a table was very pleased as we needed food x I had only one starter of pate it was so delicious and much for me x my man had the cod and he said it was absolutely tasty x the service was top class and friendly x would recommend cristoffs again x well made to kristoffs

We decided to have lunch at Criminals today, as we have a premier discount card that saves us 20% on our meals. What a lovely place, with a warm and friendly greeting. The food was fantastic, I enjoyed the Cajun chicken pasta while the kids had hot dogs and chips. For dessert, we had sticky toffee pudding which was delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable, especially with the discount. We will definitely return if we are in Forres again. Thank you!
