In a cosy place, Spianata Castelletto, you can eat tipical genoese dishes like pesto, stoccafisso (stockfish) and drink a great variety of wines. I like Le Barcaccia! It's my favorite restaurant since 1984!!! When you are here ask for Davide, the owner Speisekarte ansehen

La Barcaccia is a gem nestled in amongst a group of Genoese apartment buildings and a step away from one of the city's beautiful panoramic lookouts (Spianata, Castelleto). With is wooded terrace and elegant garden umbrellas, the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. The cooking is wonderful and never a disappointment. The wine list is diverse and exciting too with a selection from various regions.

There is a wonderful view over Genoa from the Belvedere, which you must certainly experience when in Genoa. There are two free lifts, close tp the main station. The restaurant lies behind the viewpoint, just a short distance away. It served us a very good lunch cheerfully and efficiently and with some great dishes and wine. The perfect place for lunch after our walk around the city. Outdoor seating. Not too main stream. Very highly recommended.
