"I recently passed through this town and made an incredible discovery when I stopped at this restaurant. From the first bite, I was seduced by the fresh chickpea gazpacho, a real explosion of flavors. The duck breast was simply delicious, perfectly cooked and the accompaniments equally tasty. An exceptional dining experience that I highly recommend!"

"My wife and I had a fantastic evening and dinner here. We booked on the basis of recommendations, yet from outside, it may not look that appealing at first sight. Do not be put off!!!! We both took the €34 menu. The ingredients were good quality and the courses were very well executed with lovely taste combinations (not necessarily original but didn't matter a jot). The food was beautifully presented, and really tasty. The sauces of the main courses were particularly good and refined. The desserts were simply delicious, beautifully presented, and the portion sizes were great. We had a great aperitif maison, and good wine with the meals. The service was efficient, and the right speed (not too quick, not too slow). This restaurant is worth a detour, and if we're in the region, we'll be back."

"Having put a point of honour for 63 years to refuse to set foot at mac do, it was on the advice of friends that yesterday at night, I went to eat a hamburger at the cozy cook. very honestly, it’s not the style of restaurant I’m used to to frequent. If I’m surprised by the decoration, I’m even more pleasantly surprised by the discovery of a beautiful terrace in the back of the building. a nice welcome, a cool and efficient service, a richly filled plate, fries to the top. has our table, 3 cooked steaks requested and perfectly successful. a glass of a strong wine in aperio, followed by a very good red Chilean wine. a very good quality price. I recommend for a good start of the evening."

"It was a party with friends who enjoyed good wines, organized in advance to taste some pearls from the north of the peninsula. We were 26 comfortable in the room. piero, the model boss and his small team had prepared a speciality meal of the Bologna-Trévise-Vérone triangle allowing to enjoy 2 types of nectar: the balsamic vinegar of modène (aceto balsamico di modena) accompanied by the 3 dishes of the Italian antipasti meal, primo, secondo piatto, in 4 versions of 9 years, 18 years, 25 years and even. We were able to compare the aromas of these four jewels directly.Piero knows his products and suppliers that he has been visiting regularly for a long time. Listening to it describe the development of these products is exciting. These delights are available at the shop, like a whole family of Italian products, pasta, wines, etc. the second part of our tasting concerned the wines of the valpolicella, nearby region of modène, located between the guard lake and the city of Verona. So we were able to compare 2 vintages of ripasso as well as 2 vintages of alumona della valpolicella, 2 atypical red wines of this region of Veneto, developed by adding a mesh of the just-shared clusters. the amarone are very appreciated by amateurs and it was a great pleasure to be able to taste and compare four of these jewels. an excellent evening, a great discovery, a great bravo in piero and his team for having enjoyed us. We'll be back."

"Vendredi soir, à deux, une petite sortie au restaurant... et c'était pas mal. Seul point négatif, l'attente... 45 minutes avant d"être servis, c'est long. Mais au moins, ça valait le coup. Je ne sais pas si c'est habituel, je l'avais vu sur un avis ici même. Le serveur (très sympa, c'est vrai) s'est excusé pour l'attente.Mais en dehors de ça, rien à dire ! Très bon repas pour un prix très abordable, bien servi, choix de plats suffisant pour pouvoir y retourner de temps en temps sans manger toujours la même chose, ambiance agréable... Nous y retournerons, c'est sur."
