very nice discovery, welcoming service even at late hour. rich and tasteful dishes. if you go to see the lake of annecy on the church side stop eating chea boull café voys will not be disappointed!!

From the road, this cafe didn’t look much. Surrounded by mountains but sat on a main highway, we needed refreshment boy did we get it here! There was hardly any room-the place was full of starving French workers, who obviously visited here on a regular basis. There were five dishes to choose from (easy) we were presented quickly efficiently, huge plates of glorious food a superb glass of wine. Magic.

Typical Gallic aloofness but not unfriendly, but using the facilities I'd deem a health risk: One unisex facility, stench overwhelming, one urinal, no toilet seat or toilet paper. Just stopped for coffee/tea and croissant. The local pensioners appeared regulars for their daily kiss on both cheeks required of the aforementioned, reluctant, thirtysome year old barmaid. BTW, hot milk was provided for the tea.
