Came by chance and discovered a gem. Attracted by the view (the whole Tigullio gulf at your feet and you outlook Portofino, the crown jewel of Liguria) we discovered a homemade cuisine which is second to none, warm and charming atmosphere, a blistering fast service. The owner (Daniela) a true Ligurian women strong and sweet, is full of energy and likes talking with customers. We went by chance but will always come back when around. Worth a detour just for the sake of this place..

last night we stayed at dinner in this beautiful trattoria, located in a panoramic position in the hamlet of sant'andrea oakto. offers a simple Ligurian menu, but with excellent dishes and served in abundant portions. as the first we chose the nut sauce pansöti and fish ravioli to the branzino sauce, both very gothic, we continued then both with a branzino to the head, also very valid. Finally as dessert we took the typical granny cake with lemon cream and pine nuts, excellent! a water, half liter of white wine blurred of the house and two coffees for a final account of euro in two, absolutely honest. recommended local.

Only restaurant in walking distance of our accommodation. Definitely home made and home cooked local food. Relatively short menu and we shared a sea food ravioli with our little group and its was ample and very tasty. Then the highlight of the baked Sea Bass on sliced potatoes which was excellent; you can get this in many trattoria but in this case the potatoes were properly cooked in olive oil and some nice and crispy. Seafood skewers (minus the skewers) of baby squid, baby octopus and shell on prawns were cooked on a BBQ/grill and again perfectly cooked. Deserts home made, wouldn't allow us to try the apple strudel as it was made a day ago so had the pine-nut flan which again was excellent... Speisekarte ansehen
