Unfortunately, this time I was disappointed: shrimp and “canocchie” mantis shrimps were dry and stringy. Fried main dish: not crisp and very greasy. Good wine, though !

Had a late lunch a full meal. Everything from the bread sticks to the wine was exceptional. Experts in seafood, eel, homemade pasta. Met 3 generations of the chefs grandmother, mother and daughter proud of their very fine restaurant. Great experience. Out of the city worth the trip.

The food was remarkable, the service impeccable and meeting the three generations that run this restaurant memorable. Our Italian is limited but we were able to organize a 3 hour luncheon that was just fantastic. We are adventuresome and tried everything from whole little fried shrimp, fish roe burrata, whole grilled eel, cuttlefish risotto to homemade pastas. The wine was tremendous and believe it or not the breadsticks were the best we have ever had. Homemade desserts and espresso ended a memorable meal. We arrived at 1:30 and departed at 4:30 after touring the nearby Pomposa Abbey which is an underrated tourist attraction. Go and enjoy. Speisekarte ansehen
