"Locale affascinante, situazione in una piccola corte del centro di Merate: l'interno risulta studiato in maniera elegante ed un po' retrò. Molto bello il fatto che i bicchieri e le brocche siano griffate con il logo del ristorante stesso.Il menù è caratterizzato da innovazione e qualche tratto di tradizione italiana, comunque molto accattivante: i piatti poi sono di buona qualità, ben realizzati e belli a vedersi. Purtroppo c'è una delusione: le rane in tempura (probabilmente troppa pastella o non ci son più le rane di una volta o la frittura un po' unta ... sta di fatto che le avevo scelte per ricordare i sapori dell'infanzia ed un po' mi han deluso). Una delusione a fronte di tante bontà: ottimi gli antipasti, superbo il dolce di questa settimana (scrematura di bufala, marmellata di arancia amara e riduzione al cioccolato).Il servizio è professionale, educato, rapido: ce ne fossero così in giro ...Conto equilibrato: i prezzi sono giusti per ciò che si mangia, considerando sia la buona qualità che la giusta quantità."

"I returned after so many years in this farm which I kept a good memory. I should say that I was pleasantly surprised because it has improved more than my memories. The location is really beautiful, the very characteristic and well kept premises. it is possible to dine in the inner courtyard, set up in a very intimate and nice way or in the interior. Respect all covid regulations, the staff was always very kind and attentive, asking after each course if there was a need for a resumption (even this sign of quality, although the portions are already numerous and abundant so we never asked for a second portion). We have taken the typical seasonal menu, so it is good to inform yourself at the time of booking, because being seasonal can vary from time to time. As already said the portions are abundant and of really excellent quality. special mention for the first, with homemade pasta, but also the other courses were not less. they use all raw materials in the area and in ours, and I must say that it feels. I was also pleasantly surprised the wine (red,) also local but certainly higher than the bulky wines found in many places. great perfume, you did not even feel after the inevitable various drinks glasses to accompany the various courses, also this synonym of excellent quality. It is a place to keep in mind also for special occasions, really beautiful, with high quality, friendly staff and very good food. The price is in my opinion correct and not exaggerated, given the quality of food and abundance."
