beautiful location, sliced appetizers and abundant but not exceptional cheeses. excellent marinated ribs in blueberry sauce. nothing special for desserts and coffee. avoid outdoor spots under the plastic tent that you die of hot. contained prices. in the overall recommended, but not exceptional.

I was today on this farm already visited in the past for my 50th birthday. a beautiful place, surrounded by greenery with swings and slides for children. suitable for families, companies and families. The dishes are really good. exquisite braised with polenta and lemon risotto with sage. very kind and professional staff. a farmhouse in a small village surrounded by nature with dishes at km 0 and really goose and typical specialties of the territory. Many specialties are produced on site where there is a breeding and a dairy of products derived mainly from goats but also chickens and other animals bred according to nature. suitable for companies, families and children who discover immersed in the tranquility of a cozy place but at the same characteristic values of a time.

We are obliged to say a big thank you to Chiara and Alberto for their kindness and for making our visit to their countryside restaurant a memorable one. A perfect local menu served in a beautifully decorated old farmhouse on a bright autumn Sunday. Special mention to the quadrotti , a kind of ravioli stuffed with cheese and pears! Another special mention to the different varieties of their home made goat cheese. Price in line with expectations, good quality wines. There is plenty of space outside for children to play. Maybe a little difficult to reach in case of snowfalls.

We stayed two nights at Agriturismo Cascina Ombria and decided to eat our breakfasts and dinners there. Alberto served us magnificent meals, made with milk, eggs, cheese and meat and more, right from the farm. Not only was the food excellent and beautifully presented, but Alberto and Chiara were such wonderful hosts. They speak some English and one of us spoke some Italian, so we had some great conversation, including some helpful tips for exploring the area. I was there couple summers ago, with an Italian family for a big birthday luncheon. I went straight from the Milan airport. Even in the haze of the jet lag, I could savor the great taste of each dish served, every single one was impressive. The owners raise their own animals and grow vegetables. The cheese they make, I wish I could get back at home. Dining rooms were homey, the whole outdoor space and landscape provided for a beautiful relaxing afternoon. Owner couples are wonderful people, serious about their food and very friendly. I didn't get a chance to stay over night but know will go back there, with my husband and son!

we stayed at the farmhouse cascina ombria last Sunday and we were all pleasantly surprised. the structure is surrounded by the woods and the countryside and seems almost a pearl set in a beautiful crown of needles. the menu was simply delicious: meats, cheeses, pasta, polenta, braised ... all delicious! There is also the possibility to eat a vegetarian menu, which I did: absolutely fantastic, there are few places where even the vegetarian menu holds the comparison with the traditional one. I returned after so many years in this farm which I kept a good memory. I should say that I was pleasantly surprised because it has improved more than my memories. The location is really beautiful, the very characteristic and well kept premises. it is possible to dine in the inner courtyard, set up in a very intimate and nice way or in the interior. Respect all covid regulations, the staff was always very kind and attentive, asking after each course if there was a need for a resumption (even this sign of quality, although the portions are already numerous and abundant so we never asked for a second portion).
