Totally agree with what they say about this location. You can wait a very long time before you are helped. For me it was time to look at the reviews and read the confirmation. Then we quickly got on and sat a few restaurants further away

I get that dealing with tourists all day can burn you out, but the service is not good. Very little interaction and everything seems like a hassle. Right on the high point of the campo. We had excellent service from multiple staff. They took time to tell us about the Palio horse race even though we were only stopping for a glass of wine. I never knew so much history about the annual horse race in this square. Since 1600’s. 3 inches of soil are placed on the track around the edge of the circle. The history is incredible. We are very pleased with our visit to this restaurant and we highly recommend it. We dropped in really spontaneously and left very satisfied. Even after the visit, when I read the reviews, I wonder if we are talking about the same place, because the food was delicious an understatement! The plates are empty, perfect. And the desserts at the very end were a blast, the service was at a high level, the atmosphere was also unique, delicious wine, and when it comes to the price, for me it's good, in such a place and of such quality, for me MOLTO BENE!!!! !! Nice ambience based on the medieval flair, but unfriendly service. We decided on ice cream because the restaurant also advertised itself as a gelateria and ordered a banana split for €11 each. After a long wait, during which you can enjoy the life of the piazza, the ice cream was served to us without a saucer with a peeled banana and 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and a chocolate scoop. The absolute highlight, however, was the completely collapsed spray cream from the can (Aldi or Lidl product evidence of standing for so long!
