"Excellent place to have great authentic Italian cuisine. This family friendly restaurant serves lovely food Staff are friendly and accomidate you needs very well. We were sat right next to the open kitchen and we watched then prepare and cook our pizzas. The chef was friendly friendly played along with our children. Including making then a dough crocodile. They enjoyed the experience very much. Food was reasonably priced. I didn't feel it was expensive. Maybe the wine. Parking is hard work. There's a pay and display behind the restaurant but it's the most ill designed car park with 10 cars trying to find a space and no room to turn around and manoeuvre. We had to sneakily park behind a shop. Anyway, overall a lovely place to eat."

We rarely eat out but when we do we often choose La Cucina. We are never disappointed! The staff are always very friendly and accommodating, and the food is fresh and tasty. Simple Italian cuisine at it's best.

Amazing food! Like I was eating in Italy again. Very tasty, good portions too. My boyfriend had the Calzone and they put garlic oil on the dough and it tasted amazing! So good! The staff were really friendly too, very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend and eat there again.

pure chance brought us in the evening before the funeral of a dear friend to la cucina. one of the best Italian meals we enjoyed outside italian, and an appropriate appreciation for someone with whom we have restored good eating from the Orkney Islands in the south france. my friend and I had dinner on Tuesday night. I didn't know what to expect. but must say that eating was excellent. we have just returned from a week in venice and eating was exactly the same. the common starter plate was delicious, I could eat it to breakfast, dinner and tee. they also had the greatest selection of amaro that I saw outside italian. the calf liver was so soft. can not recommend this restaurant very much.

La Cucina's lunch special has to be the best deal in Oxford. Your choice from a selection of pizzas, pastas, a risotto or a soup with a side salad and a glass of wine for £8. The food incredible (we had the La Cucina risotto and the Quattro Formaggi both were excellent) and the service was friendly, personalised and lovely. A fantastic lunch all around. We are looking forward to returning for the North Italy Five Course Feast.

"I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. My favorite dish is the pierogi Ruski (dumplings filled with potato and cheese) although they are not shown in the picture. I have never had a bad meal here. Just a heads up, some of the items in the photo were leftovers and were not provided by Polish Kitchen, such as Yorkshire puddings and sweet corn."

"Three of us enjoyed a fabulous meal at Jin Jin (Friday 8th December), we had not visited before. We chose set menu B and were not disappointed. First thing we noticed was the genuinely warm welcome from the ladies serving. It was a cold evening and they made sure the heater was turned on and immediately brought a pot of hot jasmine tea. The food was absolutely fantastic, fresh, plentiful and hot. We were not rushed into leaving, even as they were getting busy. Many thanks to all at Jin Jin for a great meal in a lovely atmosphere . We look forward to returning."

"Amazing place. I was so impressed. The menu is creative without being fussy or simply to be different. There are extraordinary vegetarian and also vegan options..and these dont even stand out in looking at menu as being “different”. Had the celeriac… who would have thought it would be the perfectly delicious main for the plate! It was! Service was great. I had mentioned in reservation that my friend was celebrating birthday and a plate with delectable small tea cakes arrivec with Happy Birthday in chocolate.. "One evening during our stay in Oxford, we decided to explore the dining options on George Street. We noticed a colorful and uniquely decorated restaurant across the street that caught our attention. Craving Thai food, we entered the restaurant and were impressed by its spacious layout on multiple levels. The friendly host guided us to a cozy table downstairs, where the decor resembled a bustling Thai street market. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and we started with a Lychee gin fizz and a refreshing Singha beer. For appetizers, we enjoyed the flavorful Chili Squid before diving into our main dishes of Spicy Seafood Noodles and Fried Organic Tofu with Cashew nuts and steamed jasmine rice. The food was delicious and generously portioned, with the Spicy dish made milder to our liking. We made sure to save room for the indulgent Mango Sticky Rice dessert, which provided the perfect sweet ending to our meal. The attentive and friendly service added to the wonderful dining experience, and we found the prices to be reasonable. Overall, we would highly recommend this restaurant to those seeking a unique and memorable meal in Oxford."

"I'm 14 years old and before I came here, I've never tried a good meal. we came to this place because we visited a friend who was close, although I also wanted my first good culinary experience. we had the a la carte menu (2/3 courses and started with a starter who was a free meal from the kitchen. That was delicious, I have to say. we then moved to our starter, pornstar and pudding these were not too heavy as we were easily able to finish all the courses, including the delicious refreshments we had at the end. this place has a great atmosphere, although not many people were there at this time and it was not overpriced for the amount of food they were actually given. I would definitely recommend this place :"
