"I'm a regular here, and I'm not the only one lol! This place is always packed, it's both a locals haunt and a place where well-advised tourists end up. I meet my friends here, I meet my colleagues here, I meet half the town here...And it draws out the locals every evening with good reasons!So, first off: Convenience. Just on the bank of the river, this place has it's own parking.Next, atmosphere: Clean shabby chic orientated decor, open central kitchen, usually pretty crowded, Italian chef.... This place has got the atmosphere where it should be for modern tasty Italian cuisine.Service: populated by hipster and punkette style waiters and waitresses, they might not be warm nor welcoming, but they polite and competent. The service is prompt and the wine suggestions correct.Food: my FAVOURITE part! I love Italian, and I just appreciate a place that does it right so much! Simple, clean, modern and tasty!Their pizzas are beyond a doubt the best in the region, special mention for the Bianca and the Cosi. Their pasta is mouth watering. But I always find the best on their menu to be their dish of the day (for example duck filet with apricots, tuna steak with Italian sauce, roast filet mignon...) and their veal schnitzel.In fact I am a regular to this place almost solely because of their veal schnitzel. Just gorgeous!Oh and their desserts.... Are just delicious, special mention for the raspberry-lemon-white chocolate parfait!Once again, this is not a budget eat-all-you-can low end pizzeria. The prices are midrange. But the cuisine is authentic and impeccable, the setting very pleasant, and it is definitely a place you will come back to after trying it once."

"O Papilles sprak ons meteen aan, niet te toeristisch en met een eigen stijl.Zo is het geen overbevolkt restaurant en heeft het een open keuken. De jonge vrouwelijke kok is enorm vriendelijk en laat indien gewenst de huissaus meteen proeven. Dit restaurant verdient zijn plaats in de top 10 van Avignon op TripAdvisor. De kaart is niet super uitgebreid, maar elk gerecht dat ik zag vertrekken uit de keuken is een topper. Zelf nam ik de gegrilde filet de boeuf en de kwaliteit van het vlees en de cuisson waren perfect. Ook de salade is heel verzorgd. De kok werkt met heel verse producten en gebruikt aardse smaken die erg goed bij elkaar passen. En de desserts waren overheerlijk. Bovendien zijn de prijzen klantvriendelijk voor een stad als Avignon. Kortom een aanrader!"

"I went to eat in this Moroccan restaurant with my daughter. We were welcomed very warmly, the frame is just beautiful and very clean. We ordered a royal couscous. I already ate very good couscous, and well this one was just delicious, very copious with a cooked meat at the point. Also, the seeds and vegetables are at will, but believe me when you ate your plate, you don't put the blanket back. A must in Avignon. PS: special mention for very clean toilets!"

"Stopped here for dinner on our first night in Avignon. It was pretty early for dinner in France but we were starving and couldn't wait so we were the first customers of the evening and had no trouble getting a table. The cozy interior is a great combination of quaint and funky.Our waiter didn't speak too much English and our French is terrible but his demeanor was friendly throughout the meal and we had no trouble communicating our order. Vegetable ravioli with homemade burrata cheese was a welcome surprise and the Andouillette sausage a true rustic preparation.Add to that a bottle of top shelf Chateauneuf du Pape and a bill for under 100 Euros and you get a terrific meal at a good value."
