good, home cooked Italian cuisine from a short but interesting menu supplemented by specialties. Ravioli fillings were particularly moorish.

A genuinely authentic, family-owned restaurant! It has an excellent Italian atmosphere and serves the best pasta you can imagine! Great value for the money!

A real gem, full of regulars with staff providing a genuine personable feel. More importantly, the food is absolutely delicious. My porcini tagliatelli was insanely good and I didn't want it to end. If it were my birthday I'd want to go here for 4 courses.

What a charming little restaurant! Tucked away on Kensington Church Street, it offers the most delightful dishes and friendly owners. The vibrant atmosphere paired with super fresh, authentic Italian cuisine is a true testament to the owner's passion for her craft. It's an absolute delight!

Without a doubt, one of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had. I found this purely by chance with my girlfriend. We both fancied an Italian meal and we saw the Italian flag from Kensington High Street which drew us in. The chef Elsa greeted us and squeezed us in for a last minute booking. Everything was perfect. Food made with love and the Bruschetta was divine! Top tip: if Elsa offers a special accept it it’ll be fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!

Lovely Italian restaurant just off High Street Kensington, on Kensington church street. It has few outdoor tables and more indoor, in its grind floor and mezzanine’s. The owner is a lovely, talented and friendly Italian lady from Milan. We ordered a bruschetta as a starter to share and it came in the shape of a pizza. Huge and delicious. Then we got the specials of the day, fresh handmade ravioloni filled with beef and onions and others with ricotta and tomato. Highly recommend if you want to try something traditional and handmade.

We had the good fortune of discovering La Fortuna for our last night in London. From the moment we walked up there was something charming and inviting about this unpretentious restaurant. The waiter greeted us warmly and obviously had great rapport with the other guests, many of whom seemed local. Chef Elsa came out to tell us the specials and we settled on a seafood salad (grilled calamari, prawns, peppers, and langoustine, with plenty of greens and black olives which was excellent. My partner followed this with a prawn and spicy vegetable ravioli and I had the penne alla carbonara (made properly with guanciale and no cream! .
