Busy, central, mid range restaurant. We ate here twice during our stay in Ravenna. Food was good especially the sardine starter (one is more than enough for two) and they do local wine by the carafe. Service is included. I would recommend.

Working your way through all the mosaics on the combo ticket in Ravenna sure worked up an appetite. Easily seated here and provided an english menu. Local wine and pasta, cant get much better than that. Affordable prices for a great meal. Highly recommend stopping in.

A bit of an old fashioned place of varying quality. Nice starter of salami, ham, etc, but a bit too large a portion. Pasta dish mashed potato in ravioli with chopped mushrooms quite unpleasant and very bland. Excellent grilled meat after that and nice desert. Awful house wine! Speisekarte ansehen

Sono stati ieri sera a mangiare col mio compagno ci siamo trovati molto bene. Tavoli esterni ed interni con aria condizionata. Porzioni abbondanti e buone. Consiglio di prenotare soprattutto se si preferisce stare all'esterno. Consiglio tagliatelle al ragù, polpo al rosmarino con patate sabbiate e la zuppa inglese.

We looked forward to our night in Ravenna and dinner at La Gardella. I will start off by saying the food and drink were very good bit alas that is where it ends. We started the evening with no less that 4 servers in our area. Two and a half hours there was only 1 gentleman for the entire section. They cleared our dishes he asked if we wanted coffee and dessert and disappeared. 40 minites I asked the maitre D’ for our check and waited 15 minutes more before finally receiving and paying. It was unfortunate that such a wonderful night turned into an unmitigated disaster.

Storico ristorante nel centro di Ravenna, posto alle spalle del Mercato Coperto. Ambiente raccolto con un numero limitato di coperti, ma molto confortevole. Meglio prenotare. Servizio a dir poco veloce, gestito da personale molto attento alle esigenze del cliente. Il menù comprende piatti di carne e di pesce, la maggior parte dei quali con ricette tratte dalla tradizione romagnola. È tutto di alta qualità, è impossibile sbagliare. Segnalo lo gnocco fritto con salumi, le lasagne verdi, i tagliolini al ragù di mare, i cappelletti in brodo, il coniglio arrosto, le pere glassate al vino rosso e la zuppa inglese.
