"very cozy, clean and quiet place. we ate outside. courteous staff and hand. if you don't know what to eat, let us advise, that you don't miss. we took an appetizer of the house for two, a bis of homemade pasta with porcini mushrooms and tomatoes and a portion with bread mollic and raw pepper (I think it is said so to finish a triple chocolate cake and homemade liqueurs from the owner. I recommend the fennel and mint all accompanied by red wine of the house. A spectacular dinner. Congratulations, guys!"

"Cena di lavoro perfetta! Ho prenotato in questo ristorante per portarlo a cena colleghi che da tutta Italia erano in una riunione commerciale presso l'hotel midi. La cena era eccezionale, per la qualità della quantità, il servizio e molto altro ancora. Tutti sono stati stupiti dai complimenti del proprietario più volte. Lo consiglio. Ci vado ogni volta che saro' un lagonegro. Congratulazioni maurizio!"

"Coming back from holiday in Calabria we drew up here lured by a bright neon sign. It was dark and we drove through a large rough and ready carpark full of lorries good indicator! The restaurant looks like a converted circus tent, with a central fireplace which, being summer was decorated with baskets of vegetables. Pretty check table cloths, folded napkins and colourful ceramic jugs. I had home made papardelle e ceci a delicious, thick, home made flat pasta which is traditionally served with a chick pea soup. Grated cheese and a pot of hot chilli pepper steeped in oil were brought to the table and both were added to the dish. Wholesome and very generous portion. We also ordered grilled cheese and fried potatoes but, be warned, it was too much on a hot summer's night! We were given containers to take what we couldn't manage home! Pity because there was also cake!!! Shall return possibly in winter and even stay in the agriturismo (family run farmstead). Very surprised to find such a place en route but the proverbial lorry driver's choice holds true! Highly recommended and by the way very clean."

"Pausa pranzo durante il viaggio verso Isola di Capo Rizzuto, siamo usciti dall'autostrada alla ricerca di un posto mangiare ed abbiamo trovato questo posto grazie ad una ricerca veloce su Google, antipasto con crostini con alici e spada marinati, due primi piatti abbondanti e molto gustosi, scialatelli con pesto di pistacchio e spada e pasta fresca con ragù lucano e caciotta fresca. Direi che abbiamo fatto un'ottima scelta!"

"I stayed for 3 days at the structure of Mr. giovanni that is located near lagonegro in an area surrounded by greenery and not far from Maratea...the owner is a really exquisite person passionate about his work that makes you feel totally comfortable... unique kindness and strong sense of hospitality are really the strength of the Red case. One evening we had dinner at his restaurant, all very good from the start to the bis of first and second at really honest prices... even the cost of the room is much below the average of the area...the room is very simple you have to adapt a little to the bathroom, but the simplicity is one of the things that represents this structure... I really do so many in luck to the wolf to Mr. giovanni and I thank him again for everything. ..sperating to see him as soon as possible this time without mask."
