We thoroughly enjoyed eating here twice during our trip to Paris. The food and were service were great. Each time we were here, they had a different menu for the day, and all of their dishes were homemade.

On the corner, just off the square where the outdoor market is held. A basic french workman's cafe, so don't expect anything luxurious or any refined cooking. Good atmosphere though, if you like to experience real French life. I fancied a steack grille, and as most of the other cafes nearby are ethnic, we had lunch there : not the most tender one I've had, but what do you expect for 9 euros?

We came here as we had been looking round the market- outdoor flea market, indoor food market d 'Aligre which we had not known about before, but was in a guide book. We had fish f the day which that day happened to be cod, cooked with fresh vegetables and potatoes with a nice sauce. We had the usual free bread basket but di not have a dessert as the main course was quite satisfying. Food was tasty, servoce friendly .

Great place. We sat outside overlooking the outdoor market and had a leisurely lunch. I had a very good chicken tagine dish and my husband had a chicken fillet plate. Our waiter was attentive despite my abysmal French, the dishes were delicious, and the bill was very reasonable. Wonderful place for food and people watching. I must add that we had great dining experiences during our visit. We stuck to bistros and spent very little money.
