Very good experience in Rome. Ok prices, delicious pasta and very good service!!! We ate two dishes a breaded cheese, which were divine! The place is very pleasant, cozy and simple! Cozy place with a typical location of old Roman taverns. It is no coincidence that you can taste dishes mainly of Roman cuisine. The food is fresh, well prepared and plated. What we like about Tizia and Caio are the smiling faces and the Roman cuisine that comes to life here, traditional and high quality, in a simple context and at affordable prices. There are 6 of us going to dinner. Greeted a little distant first by a boy then by a gentleman then another boy arrived to take the order. We asked for wine together with still and sparkling water which arrived in installments. Without bread at the table you couldn't make the slipper. I had tripe and a Danish steak with grilled vegetables. The vegetables arrive first, then the tripe immediately after the meat which was overcooked. The service was a little confusing and at times present. I recommend the first ones which, according to my husband, are good; he took the gricia. On the advice of a friend we went to try this restaurant... to forget First courses: tagliatelle with ragù, risotto with taleggio and radicchio and a cacio e pepe, respectively tagliatelle almost glue, risotto taleggio and radicchio which did not arrive, only a lake of cream and the liquid cacio e pepe. Second courses, a Danish steak, Roman tripe and Roman saltimbocca, the steak is hard and dry, impossible to eat, more than half left; tripe also soggy and in a lake of sauce, saltimbocca covered in a creamy sauce... honestly the recipe for this dish is not this, I don't know.
