"we tasted the cutter of meats and organic cheeses and two varieties of sandwiches, all accompanied by a blond beer to the plug and a glass of red wine. we were very impressed by the price ratio of raw materials. the room is furnished very well, nicely and elegantly but not for this pretentious. pleasant and unintrusive music and friendly and helpful staff. in addition to the choice of sandwiches, there are several really interesting salads, soups, local fries and desserts of the day. two small tips: I would improve the red wine with a glass (a little too tannic) and with regard to the sandwich 06, I would add to the culatello a cheese less intrusive than the gorzonzola to better appreciate its unique taste."

eating here is always an experience! excellent food: products of the territory beautifully cooked and stuffed, meat and fresh fish, well selected wines and cozy atmosphere both inside and outside, in the characteristic ascolana rough. try everything! also for an aperitif, especially the many appetizers really delicious. as would say bourgeois alessandro: exciting vote!

we stayed with my partner at this place in February 2019 during the carnival. the first evening had been organized by the hotel in which we stayed and while having a fixed badge the girl who served us was very helpful at any of our requests..(I intolerant to some foods)...The second evening we went instead of our choice because both food and courtesy had literally enthralled us. meats and organic cheeses, vegetarian dishes, artisanal maze. all of excellent quality with good price quality ratio. informal but well maintained environment. highly recommended.

"I feel a little uneasy to title this review 'authentic Italian fish retaurant ' because I am not in a position to judge what genuine 'authentic ' is. However I have no difficulty in believing it is authentic, not in a contrived way for presentation purposes, but in doing what they do the way that they do it. A fish retaurant it certainly is, 100%. Both the authentic and fish tags could be taken to be unreservedly positive, and for those dinners seeking these characteristics out they are. So the Excellent reviews are both understandable and deserved. Others may conclude: 'I 'm glad I went, but just once '. The restaraunt is small and tucked away amongst back streets and alleys, so not easy to find. Though we had booked we were the first to arrive and they were not ready for us, so we went and had a glass of wine nearby and returned in half an hour. This didn 't feel like a problem, just 'authentic '. Ordering is not about ticking menus but a chat with the owner who is eager to explain and to adjust here and there. Authentic. He is about seafood, not presentation in elegant surroundings, and it 's seafood not just fish a wide range of seafood was to be found on the few plates we had. Price for both food and wine: very reasonable. So if you 're serious about seafood and authentic Italian then go there, if your not (and it 's ok not to be) go there anyway, it 's an experience. If you definately don 't like seafood and rustic (read unpretentious not rough) Italian then go somewhere else, there is good food to be had for everyone in Ascoli Piceno!"
