Great rooftop restaurant with fantastic views over the city. Friendly wait staff. Good menu and efficient service with reasonably priced tasty food.

Extraordinaria paella a un precio muy asequible y cantidad generosa. Ensalada estupenda y una crema catalana casera de chapeau. Que más se puede pedir? El servicio: genial, rápido y atento. Un 10 a Ricky. Gracias eskarrikasko!

We enjoyed this restaurant, service was friendly and quick. The generous portions are large enough to share a couple of plates. The burger comes with fries; however in ordering the steak cuts and braised beef rib you may want to choose a side dish as well. We had Caesar salad and grilled vegetables but you order them a La carte. We fully enjoyed the grill; and dishes came out hot and cooked nicely. I was very disappointed with this restaurant. We decided to go there because the reviews were good and it is very near the magic fountains of montjuic. The calamari was in the mains section but it came before the other main and had nothing with it, no garnish, salad or chips, it just looked like a starter. I had the paella which had no flavour and three small pieces of chicken. The service was rushed and very brash. We were not asked how our meal was, just abruptly handed us the bill. I would not go again or recommend it. For an amazing dining experience please go to Bodega Biarritz whilst you are in Barcelona.

We stopped in based on the reviews, but left feeling like we could’ve picked better on our last night in Barcelona. The service wasn’t that great. It took a while after being seated to get anyone’s attention to place our order. It was the same story when we wanted to wrap things up and get our bill. The food was just ok. My wife enjoyed her chicken and fries, but you can’t really mess that up. I ordered the paella with chicken. The chicken was pretty dry and the rice was a little hard. Restaurant LaLola on Plaza España in Barcelona on the top platform of the Arena of Spain. The view from there is great! The place is good, they cook tasty, but very little (at least for us), that is why they have an OVER PRICED tag for food . At least they make it for me. Paella mix Large (double), they promised when I talking with the waiter (or manager) that it would be really DOUBLE. Bottom line: a large frying pan and rice on it was smeared in the thickness of one rice one layer, so even one hungry person would be problematic to gorge yourself from this huge frying pan, but we took one BIG one for two of us and we were assured that everything would be fine .
