"Lovely ambiance, excellent service and the food was top class .For lunch,my wife and I had angus steaks... wow.. this is real beef, excellently cooked, just as we wanted, delightfully served with a lovely small portion of chips in a small salad. Never had better....Try the gourmet coffee after.. a real treat .This is a restaurant for a special treat, anniversary etc but also the menu du jour looked value and filling. My wife and I have lived in France for 18 years, eaten in many Restaurants and this has to be one of the best. We really enjoyed the food, excellent, and also the service, friendly, knowledgeable and in the back ground . we 'll be back very soon, will make up a reason, c 'est la vie..."

"A little wormhole with apéro is a pleasure. Main course good overall. A bit of fat for the tin and mayonnaise a little sweet to my taste. Too bad the chocolate isn't hot on the ice. The brick walls give charm to the restaurant."

"We really enjoyed our meal at grill nicolas very much enhanced by supremely helpful waitress who kindly steered us away from veal brains and veal sweetbreads onto veal escalope she also looked up all the english terms for how to have a steak cooked....Our food was delicious particularly the more traditional dishes. Decor was slightly odd fake cow print wall paper (furry to the touch) and a huge tv showing cat walk shows which are daughters loved but I thought was a bit tacky although it did have a sort of 1980s charm.. Great atmosphere pretty much full on a soggy August night credit to the kitchen team and front of house team. I think most people would be driving here we parked on the pavement outside. It is slightly out of town but well worth a visit."

For the staff, the boss is very friendly and loves his job, he goes to see each customer and explains his dishes with passion. The service staff is very friendly and attentive and as the manager likes to say, we are entitled to Thai cuisine and French service. If you like or are afraid of certain spicy dishes, they can be adapted to your request. In conclusion, if you want to test a culture through its dishes with a very warm welcome, go there with your eyes closed. Good tasting.
