Have been in Italy for 4 days and this was the worst meal I’ve had so far! The seafood was bland and not fresh, there was sand in my pasta and my husband had diarrhea the next day! Service was good though

we stayed in this restaurant for my birthday, with the discount the fork the price in relation to the quality was acceptable but the quality is quite average and suitable for tourists, surely it does not remain in the memory of those who would expect something more. unpretentious cuisine and without elements of praise. kind owner and atmosphere suitable with background lounge music, I would not recommend it especially.

We went here on the recommendation of a local and we were so glad we did! The food was amazing. Great gluten free options (GF pasta available), and the seafood was very fresh. We ordered the cuttlefish in ink pasta (gluten free), and the steamed mussels and clams. We will be back! Nice ambiance, very close to Piazza San Marco. Small step up into restaurant but otherwise very accessible. Lots of vegetarian, pescatarian options. Menu available in Italian, French, Spanish and English.

We have enjoyed our dinner at La Nuova Grotta very much! Fresh sea bass recommended by Rafat was very delicious, as well as Venetian style liver (Fegato alla Veneziana) and snacks Cicchetti. All served dishes looked beautiful and appetising. The Murano glass decoration and ceiling lights as well as pictures of Venice on the walls created special atmosphere. The restaurant is conveniently located close to San Marco Square. We are very grateful to Rafat for the friendly and professional service, to the chef for the tasty food, and to all the team for making our visit pleasant! Speisekarte ansehen
