"Superb visit yet again…….chef Jon just knows how to deliver exceptional dishes every time…….standards are so high the bar keeps rising. We were a family group of eight who keep returning for the best food fare in Swansea. We celebrated our son’s birthday and our 35th anniversary eating dishes that simply satisfy each and every one. Each course was fantastic with all dishes cleared…….if you haven’t tried their garlic bread and onion rings then you simply haven’t lived!…….. we have eaten in many, many places but always return to our favourite restaurant of all that is Truffle……..they also have the nicest and most courteous staff there is, with superb service. If you haven’t been here then you are missing out…….the best 38 three course meal around with B.Y.O.B allowing 5 star food at a very reasonable prices ……….thanks Truffle for another fantastic evening from Joe, Helen family."

"had a wonderful lunch in this little gem of a restaurant in sketty. the 3 course set menu for £18.95 was super! light and crispy fish goujons to begin, followed by pigs bauch on kartoffelmashed, surrounded by the most delicious sauce with a square of pork knistert and with a generous slice of kaviare cheesecake. we took our own bottle prosecco and the waitress brought to flee and a frozen sleeve to keep it cold! great service very relaxing very recommended x"

"I have been wanting to visit here for ages but the stars have never aligned until Saturday. We were extremely lucky to get a walk in for the two of us. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a table. As we didn't have any drinks with us Peter suggested Tesco a few doors down and I was able to grab a bottle to enjoy with the meal. The service was wonderful and friendly and it felt like we had been going there for years, with just the right amount of care and advice. The food was exceptional from start to finish. We had the chicken satay and spring rolls to start and they were beautiful. The satay was amazing and was much darker in colour than any I have had before, but much better in flavour than any I have had before, I would definitely have these again. For main I had a chicken rendang and my wife ordered gule monkfish. The rendang was again perfect for my tastes. Spicy but flavourful with a generous portion that would satisfy the majority of eaters. I would have had seconds, even though I was stuffed because it was so good. I can't comment too much on the monkfish as I have a dislike of seafood, but my wife raved about it and said she's having the same again next time without question. So I think that sums it up. We finished with deserts of a rice pudding dish I think was called bubar, which was black rice and coconut, and the second dish we ordered was a Banana coconut pancake to which I forget the name. Again I couldn't find fault if I tried another 10 out of 10. At the end of the meal we met owner and chef Ami, who came to chat. It was lovely speaking to the owners and their passion for the food and customer service was clear. We cannot wait until our next visit"

"Set right on the river front in the middle of Swansea the Ice House provides an excellent setting for the Lotus House Thai restaurant. There is a good selection of Thai food, which was served quickly. The starter mixed selection for two people was excellent, giving a good variety from the start menu to try. Each of the four of us had different main courses which demonstrated the wide variety of excellent flavours, sauces and foods currently cooked in this restaurant. For a Wednesday night the restaurant was busy, but the service was friendly and efficient. The patron herself came to our table to make sure we were happy. So, in short, good food well served in a friendly atmosphere. Do wrap up warmly you are eating in the Ice House. Thoroughly recommend The Lotus House and will return next time we visit Swansea."

"in this week I ordered a buffet dinner for a meilenstein family birthday, all arranged online and by phone. dilly’s Kitchen/Busy bees were the only company I found locally that would supply the type of food that would be appropriate for the occasion. her menu offered a series of choices, cheap, the delivery was on time, and the reports from all guests were most free about eating fresh, tasty and plentiful. the personal I spoke with and went by email was very helpful, committed and reacted immediately. Many thanks for helping to make the event a success."
