I had the pleasure of visiting this reatsunt today and I can’t believe I have never been before! It is the oldest Italian restaurant in Gateshead and is so traditional! Amazing value and lovely service. I can’t wait to return for food soon!

Ordered a takeaway tonight and the food is absolutely disgusting. The pizza is inedible and has grease dripping through the box. The pasta is soaked in water and oil there is actually a puddle on my plate. It tastes disgusting. Food is not cooked properly.... Speisekarte ansehen

The food tastes amazing, the service is great and it all comes at an affordable price. Me and my girlfriend booked a table one night and we had a lovely time from start to finish and when it came to the bill we were pleasantly surprised. We hope to be coming back very soon! Ordered here after our usual pizza shop was closed and we were surprised with a great thin and flavoursome pizza. Never would have thought of it, we have since become a fan. The other day we thought of walk in to pick up and were surprised by the lovely place, vintage you will say and a lovely owner who is the pizza maker. I am sad that this has somehow become just a takeaway shop, I am sure with a little of fitting to do, this would do for a lovely and lively restaurant as I am sure it once was. If you are up for a lovely pizza, this is definitely the place.

We are up in the area for the Great North Run. And entered the restaurant with some trepidation after having seen some of the 1 star reviews (which all seem to relate to takeaway orders, to rate so lowly is grossly unfair on the restaurant, as takeaway orders tend to have 'middle-man ' involvement such as uber eats/just eat etc). We needn 't have worried. It is a lovely independent restaurant with a traditional and authentic feel. We were served at the table by Abbie, and cooked for by Tas, who made the extra effort to come out and chat to us.
