"Ya que íbamos a visitar la Abadía de Montserrat, claro está que de tanto andar por arriba, las fuerzas flaquean y es conveniente retomarlas. Por lo tanto, nos pusimos a ello y reservé en este restaurante cuyas referencias eran excelentes. Comprobé de motu propio que todo era rigurosamente cierto. Excelentes platos cocinados con mimo y unas ascuas que siempre están activas: habas a la catalana, canelones de rustido, calçots (hay que aprovechar los productos de temporada) y pan torradito. Todo riquísimo y el servicio amabilísimo y rápido. Tomen nota."

"It has been a pleasant discovery in the gastronomic and unpleasant as far as the environment is concerned.We used boletus and other cheese croquettes, the two very good and creamy plus also rich olot potatoes. the seconds: two salmon, duck magret and melosa calf, we were very satisfied with quality and elaboration. varied desserts at very content prices. a red abadal free wine also at garlic price in restoration. total an average of 30€ per comensal. highly recommended food. fast and efficient service without losing sympathy. advisable to book. turns of 13,30 and 15 hours. The unpleasant part was the ambient noise as we had to scream to understand each other at the table.It is a very small place (5/6 tables) of low ceiling and it becomes unsufferable to talk to the rest of the tables acupadas. I think there are materials to dampen that problem even if they are not very decorative, but it is a topic to carefully analyze by the owners. This aspect makes us reconsider"

"Wonderful experience. The two waiters who served us were very attentive in their service and the food was 10. I have a gluten intolerance and they prepared a special pica pica for me. And the place, very close to the Montserrat monastery, could not be a better place. The Menu, which is around €40 per person, is well worth it. We have eaten luxuriously. "It is NOT a Hotel. It is a Hostel. And there is no restaurant as they would have you believe. It’s basic and ‘does the job’ but generally disappointing. The room I had had a nice shower good AC but there was so little room between the shower divider and the toilet wall that it was difficult to sit on the toilet without actually catching your butt on the wooden toilet roll holder!!!! There was bare jip rock around the door of the toilet which was also a bit of a let down. Adequate but well below expectations and certainly not ‘as advertised’ in any of the pictures."

"the Cal noio restaurant, located in one of the villages at the foot of the mountain of montserrat, is the typical local of traditional Catalan food, but with good quality. has a garden to eat or dine in the summer days, very nice and cozy. we order from the menu the following dishes: snails to the llauna (delicious and good quantity) xatonada (scarola,anchoas, olives, rhomesco sauce) perfect callos (normalites for my gout, the truth) rabbit to the brasa (take already) strawberries with cream (jajajaja, piece of cup) in conclusion, good place to eat, perhaps a very high quantity and the small but I see are the chairs of the inner dining rooms that are quite uncomfortable, but in general you will be full and happy."
