"My fiancé and I ate here after just coming across it while walking and thinking it looked good (we normally check reviews first but decided to give it a gamble). He had the risotto and I had the spaghetti and we both agree it was our favorite meal in Milan. The drinks were also really delicious and the waitress recommended a fantastic wine for me! We found the waitress to be very helpful and attentive at first, but after our meal was brought to us, she didn’t come back to us for an hour but checked on several other diners numerous times. At first we didn’t mind, but it became obvious we wanted her attention to order dessert and we felt somewhat ignored. I don’t think this was intentional by any means, but it went on for so long we decided not to get dessert there. All of this wasn’t a major issue at all, but just something I felt worth noting. I would highly recommend this place though!"

On our last night in Italy, we took the excellent recommendation of our hotel staff and ate here. The lovely interior was our first hint that it would be a delightful evening. Then we met the owner, Daniela, who took such wonderful care of us, guiding us to favorite dishes and wine. Friendly and full of laughter, she made it a truly memorable evening with great food and comradery.

We feel lucky to have had lunch at Doriani in Milano's Brera district on a fun shopping street. My wife and I hired a private guide for a tour of Milano, after the tour he suggested lunch at Doriani. We were treated to perfect service and food wine, starters, pasta, fish, dessert everything was worthy of a 5 star rating. We travel extensively and have had many wonderful meals. Our lunch at Doriani for sure is in our top 1% of all experiences. I would not hesitate to recommend Doriani when you are in Milano. Ciao!
