"Very convivial atmosphere. Food was well presented and delicious. Not sure I’d ever serve calamari with tartare sauce it really doesn’t work! That said, even without the sauce, the calamari were crisp and tasty. Our meals were generously portioned, and well served. A very pleasant young woman served us, and we would definitely go again. Parking: We dined early, so parking was available on the street opposite the restaurant. Service: Dine in"

"From time to time things can go wrong and this always gives a real indication as to the nature of the business. There was a small mistake in my order and, when I brought this to the attention of the waitress, it was put right immediately with a fulsome apology even from the chef who, kindly but unnecessarily, came to the table from the kitchen. It all concerned a double portion of mushrooms. There's a genuinely warm welcome in this spotlessly clean cafe. Well done Sabina and staff hope to see you in November."

"I usually can't flaw it at the piano. it's delicious and we often had more out of there, everything I've ever eaten was wonderful. to today. the breakfast was terrible. everything was cold except the pommes. we both had hard kicked. eggs on our No.2 breakfast, which contain at almost £10 any extras such as tomato, mushrooms, hash-browns or black pudding etc. the only extra was something pommes. yes, a coffee and an orange juice were included in the hefty price tag, but I personally would have preferred better and hotter food. we had not even a choice of white or brown brot! my tante had ordered a slender egg on toast, the slender eggs were gummy and so sparingly they were not everywhere near the rand of the toast. as the cook thought it was acceptable to use this and to charge almost £5 for it is beyond me. we even had to climb halfway through the meal to remind the waitress to bring our orange juice. we told the waitress that our breakfast was cold and she said that she would comment on the cook, but we didn't hear anything else. I will not return to the early part to the piano. it is obviously not her forte and I would not recommend it unless they are happy to pay almost one tenner for a basic no frills, hardly warm brekkie!"

"Such a friendly place, came across it last night when my husband and I were having car problems. We had some food and drinks which was great while waiting for help but I cannot thank the hosts and staff enough as being 39weeks pregnant, they offered so much help to make sure we were ok. Even offered us a place to stay for the night. Fabulous hosts with a beautiful place. Thank you again for everything."

"While we have visited Venezia for years as a favorite for Italian food, we have recently said that it was the best secret in New Orleans for a great steak especially on Wednesday night. We tried and were impressed. The restaurant had an updated facility that was comfortable and family-friendly. The steaks were excellent, just as cooked as we demanded and served sizzling on the plate. We ordered a Caesar salad that was enough to share with all four of us, and the steak came with elections from sides that were all excellent. An item that was surprising was the absence of a baked potato, but we didn't miss it. So the verdict was indeed a welcome surprise, excellent steak in a New Orleans restaurant that is not known for the steak... that is until locals like I share this experience with family, friends and visitors. Look at Venezia, new friends looking for a steak are on the way."
