The experience at Latana was fantastic. The staff were incredibly courteous and welcoming. The food was not only delicious, but also served in generous portions. Thank you, Latana, for a great dining experience.

We enjoyed our meal and dessert, everything was nice. However, when we ordered coffees, we were informed that we needed to leave as they needed the table. This was an embarrassing and unpleasant experience. It's not a good look for a local restaurant to treat customers this way. Speisekarte ansehen

This is a fantastic restaurant. We dropped our daighter to Varley Park campus and needed dinner before the long drive home. The service was excellent, and the food was well presented and tasted perfect. Do give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed. To be fair this was an Uber Eats order but have eaten at la tana a number of times. Lasagne delivered as clearly reheated and watery. One had no pasta other was mainly burnt with fresh sauce thrown on top not ideal. Steak was OK, spaghetti dish was OK. Pretty weak given the price is restaurant prices. Lovely food with plenty of choice and generous portions. Went with the kids and they loved the food too. The kids loved the cheesy dough balls. The place was busy but the staff were attentive. First time here but certainly not the last. Top marks on all counts so won't spend too much time on that. I would say however that La Tana prepares Italian food in a way we've not experienced before. All recognisable and totally delicious. Just that it was also different to the way other Italian restaurants serve the same dish. Wonderful food, wonderful service and wonderful surroundings. My boyfriend and I went to Brighton and especially this restaurant for the first time after a friend recommended us. The service was as usual, literally nothing over the top, very basic. Upon being charged nearly £7 as optional service charge on top of £70 of bill , I requested to exclude that from the bill simply because it was optional and I didn't find the service worth £7 at all, literally after making the payment, I find the managing lady at reception swearing and abusing at both of us as we were walking outside the place. The food and service were okayish but being called out for denying optional service charge is literally so pathetic and cheap. If you expect a handsome service charge... Speisekarte ansehen
