"We went here on a Monday night (most restaurants in Apt are closed). It sits in a nice location next to the old hospital tower, maybe a bit off the beaten track. We noticed that the Chef seemed to be on his own serving and cooking and when I enquired about the difficulty of this, his explanation sounded a bit bitter (about being fed up with personnel). We were not very hungry and asked if we could share a menu which was not welcome (fair enough) but he suggested for economy of work to make a price and put half the starter and main course on one plate (also fair enough). But the meal we got served was disappointing to say the least; two hard pieces of bread with warm goat cheese and barely warm porc (we ordered rosemary porc) and vegetable, there was no sauce at all and not a hint of rosemary. Alongside, we got a few leaves of salad with nothing on it. The wine was fine, but overpriced. Very disappointed, I would have liked to say something nice about a struggling restaurant owner, but his lack of any consideration I found disappointing."

We have chosen 3-vource set. Waiting time was terrible. Especially for the main course. And finally the main courses were cold. After two hours we had to cancel our deserts and go.

We ended up in this restaurant by accident-it was late and we sat at a table right. On the menu there were only three major dish- one stack, no French fantasy, fish portion was so small that it would not clear where the fish are. The wine we were served when we ended to eat- is-it in French! Sad, though chef and waitress were nice people

We just got back from the restaraunt. We have had some amazing meals and some okay meals during our 3 weeks in France. This one was one of the most boring over priced meals we've had. We didn't even really like the overpriced wine. The waiter was nice, but that's about it. Everything was cooked reasonably well, but it lacked anything interesting. We won't be back.

David prepared the best dinner we had during our entire two weeks in France. The salmon was cooked to perfection, as was the asparagus. The white chocolate mousse was a work of art that melted in our mouths. David was a gracious and entertaining host, and a master chef. The room is warm and intimate. We had such a great experience that we returned the following evening.

we were there off season so they offered a limited menu that was fixed priced, but very reasonable. The food was excellent. The salad, soups, steak, fish and desserts were all wonderful. I reccommend the steak with pepper sauce, but another in the party had the fish and was equally impressed. The service was prompt and we enjoyed chatting with the owner. All in all, a great meal and evening.

Searching for a place to dine in Apt, we noticed a tower... with a restaurant inside. From the start, we liked the atmosphere. The food was temptingly served and delicious, though a bit more expensive than our usual budget admitted. Being there by car, we had only a glass of nice rosé. At dessert, the waiter (or owner? pleased his guests with several guitar pieces : If ever again in Apt, will pay another visit to La Tour.

What a wonderful suprise. We ate here yesterday, Monday, when many restaurants are closed. They have jazz every Monday, but we were amazed by the duo. An amazing flautist guitarist. The standard was quite outstanding. The food is simple, very fresh Provencal cooking, delicious. A small menu, which is always good as it shows it is fresh. The young waiter was charming we just had a fab. time. As we live locally we will certainly be back we'll tell our friends .

Who would believe that my kids would gobble up duck?! My picky eaters loved the duck and so did the adults. We come here every year to enjoy delicious food and an entertaining owner. We are always very happy with the food, but this time his desserts blew us away with a lavender cream dream. The owner is very good to our younger kids, making them laugh and feeling apart of the experience. The owner’s English is excellent as well, he used to live in Wyoming and loved it. There sometimes is good jazz music, and appreciate that it’s open when most other places are closed. Try it for some great French cuisine with a great atmosphere.

We were ouit of season and initially, even at 2030, the only people in there. There were only the chef and a waiter present as far as we could make out, and we nearly didn't go in, but the menu looked exciting and thank goodness we did. We went a la carte and I had 3 local dishes, foie, veau and creme caramel. All large, well prepared and simply presented. Most importantly all delicious. Madame had an avocado and tomato salad specially created for her, then duck breast and another creme caramel. All also fantastic. All washed down with a lovely local red wine Chateau St Pons from Villars. In sum we went in with low expectations and came out hugely impressed especially at the price. Also at t...
