Lovely food, good value and great customer service. Very pleasant visit having walked out of another local cafe.

A promising start prompt service, a good menu, organic eggs and farmhouse sausages on the menu...and nice little touches butter in a butter dish, ferns growing in the windows. A very pleasant breakfast.

The food was delicious and beautifully cooked. We met all the dogs., great characters. We had breakfast inside followed by coffee in the garden. Nothing was too much trouble. Such lovely people will definitely go again. Speisekarte ansehen

We just popped in for morning coffee but the staff were really friendly and the coffee was great! We didn't realise there was a garden out the back. In Hastings old town but on one of the quieter streets so not too busy. The breakfasts looked amazing.

I had the most amazing lunch here for a caffe that is not complete. vegan I was so impressed. the vegan menu was a whole page, and eating was absolutely amazing. I had the sweet kartoffel and bore chili in tacos, served with a spicy salad and beautifully spiced rice. I will be coming back

we went here for a vegan breakfast. it was £6.00 for 2 linda mccartney sausages, a cut tomato, mushrooms and toast. it was a very bare breakfast. drilling, kartoffels, etc. were extra and, if they added it, the breakfast would be up to £10. the breakfast was okay, but nothing special at all. First, I’ve been going here for yearsss and wish they’d just get a COUPLE new things on the menu! I love you guys but give me something new to try, pretty please! :D Also, I made an honest mistake this time and forgot to order...my latte as soya, couldn’t drink it...they definitely didn’t offer to make me another. Fair enough...I know coffee and soya milk are expensive. Just thought it would be a nice gesture! But everyone is like me. As always their food was top class. I could eat a second portion of their curry, it’s that good! The biscuits are always handmade and amazing.

Once lockdown was lifted, my family came to visit me after a horrendous year and major surgery so it was a fabulous catch up This place is always top of the list for them, as they love the breakfast, and as you can’t book at...weekends it’s always hit and miss if we can get it. Thankfully we got a bit table out the back, which is a gem of a space, as less crowded, and of course open air. As regulars am aware that it’s all freshly cooked and a table at a time so it can be a while before you eat, however we were having a great time catching up after what had been so long that it didnt matter The owner was very apologetic and even gave us some drinks to apologise, we hadn’t complained, we were...

We went for a vegan breakfast, it was really nice, everything was good and the staff are lovely and friendly. One of us had the full breakfast with substitutes: 3 sausages (Linda McCartney), bubble and squeak, baked beans, mushrooms, toast, grilled tomato. I had the sausage breakfast (smaller option: 2 vegan sausages, egg which I asked to be replaced with sautéd potatoes,toast). Slightly strangely, there is no veggie or vegan breakfast listed on the menu (although they say they do vegan sausages), which is why it took us a while to visit because we thought it might be complicated and weren't sure what the vegan breakfast would include.
