Wonderful staff, fantastic food. Clean and welcoming. Service is quick even though all cooked to order. Would recommend this place highly and also make sure you look around the shop for goodies to take home.

Lovely Tea room, staff very frendly guiding us in how the service was operated, we ordered a Jacket Potato Cheese and Beans which arrived cooked perfectly it also came with side salad and butter. Would return

Went here after arriving on the train. Tried Singing Hinnys and Border Tart. All delicious and reasonably priced (the Hinnys were massive! . Great place to visit. Fantastic shop with all sorts of edible goodies too.

Busy little cafe, we sat outside which was lovely, food is fresh, bread is delicious, very tasty, lovely stop for lunch. Would love to see the kids menu have veggie sticks/more fruit offering, so many places just offer sandwiches/crisps and chocolate!

Have visited here several times over the years and it is delightful. They have a nice menu and the cafe is immaculately clean and tidy and the staff are pleasant and friendly. Placed in a lovely setting, this place is a credit to the owners and I would definitely recommend.

Lovely place to visit if you've used the light railway. We had delicious border tart and a fabulous lemon drizzle cake. Good choice of lunch foods and a little shop with some beautiful local products. Staff were fantastic, so warm and friendly. Really efficient service too. Nice outdoor space with covered seating that kept us dry in a downpour! Great place.

I was hesitant to try the tearoom's famous lavender cake for the first time, as they always warn about the possibility of using too much lavender. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The cake was light, fluffy, and served slightly warm with delicious apricot jam melting into it. The talented in-house baker definitely knows what he's doing. The tearoom staff were also friendly and helpful, dressed up for Halloween on this particular visit.

There are some beautiful hiking opportunities in the area, such as Flodden Field. We stopped by for a quick break, and one of us needed a gluten-free option. Luckily, they offer one of the better store-bought gluten-free selections here. I ordered a singing Hinny, which was huge, but warm and delicious with butter (others around me had theirs with cream and jam). The garden is lovely, but we had to bring everything inside when it started raining. There is also a well-stocked shop and post office inside.

We recently enjoyed the Christmas breakfast with Santa at Lavender Bee Tea Room and it was a wonderful experience. The full cooked breakfast was delicious and served hot, accompanied by unlimited tea and toast. Our grandchildren were thrilled to receive presents from Santa, as well as treats for the reindeer, an elf scroll, and engaging activities at the table. The staff was very friendly and even took the time to contact us beforehand to learn more about our grandchildren so that Santa could personalize their experience. Overall, it was great value for money and an excellent morning out. Well done to the team at Lavender Bee Tea Room!
