Layla - Speisekarte

On our second visit in two weeks this restaurent was up to its usual high standard. Food was of the best probably the best Lebonese we have had in a long time and an excellent choice. Very highly recommended

They have recently changed the portion sizes to be much smaller but kept prices the same which is a shame. I used to love this restaurant but it doesn't seem good value for money with the smaller portion sizes. That said the mezze and the main courses are all delicious.

my friend and I sat around 19 o'clock. the service was very good and tasty. portioning easily on the small side. the restaurant was very busy, but the service had not as a result. my only negative comment is the music that went louder than the evening. my friend and I found it difficult to hear each other, and so I think that this venue is a younger crowd especially as there is a bar on the front. I had previously been to Layla restaurant with a good experience on Saturday 26th September I recommended that I take a friend to your restaurant who used cook Lebanese food cuisine,I think you have changed the menu,the first course was fine but I think the main course was nothing more an attempt to create Lebanese cooking but did not achieve it's aim, sorry but I don't think it was value for money

great atmosphere, especially on a Saturday night. I would recommend booking a place in the bar area for half an hour/an hour before her table in the restaurant, as there are some nice cocktails and usually acoustic music. eating itself is delicious and I would be the best way to make the best of it to share different dishes to get a real taste of as much as possible. great service, great atmosphere and good food, so I highly recommend.

I chose this restaurant on recommendation of another friend for his cocktailbar, I also decided to eat there as it was my birthday. I couldn't have been happier with my decision, they were just amazing. the employees were attentive, friendly and checked for us during the meal, but without being intrusive. eating was absolutely delicious and the choice of vegetarian and meat dishes was great! overall they have completed a very special birthday for me. Service started well but drifted off to non existent as the restaurant got busy and they didn't spot mistakes from the kitchen ie missing dishes etc. Would have ordered more drink more if had been asked. Confused mis-sold starters disappointed from the start and left us hungry as were way too small to be sharing as advertised and way to expensive for what they turned out in front of us. Mains were generally good but failed to excite anyone. Could have been great. Maybe next time if i dare risk it but couldn't recommend to anyone until they get a firm grip.

do you want a afternoon with a difference? try laylas new offer. sandwiches with unusual and tasty fillings, the best and lightest scenes I have ever patterned and the most beautiful little original baked varieties. add a good selection of tees and a bellini to kick it all out of that and they have a nice afternoon. the service was friendly and attentive and my only critique was the price. it is certainly not cheap at £26.50 per head £36.50 if they are a champagne tee) but we were led to understand that they are looking for larger group discounts and possibly offer a slightly cheaper non-alcohol version. we really enjoyed our afternoon and the feeling that laylas is worth a visit in the afte...

Having not been to Layla's for some time we decided to try it for Sunday Lunch. We stopped going regularly as we felt the standard had dropped. However we were very pleasently surprised. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and when the food started to arrive (we had 8 different dishes on the table) we were delighted that we had decided to come back. QAfter the meal we spoke at length to the manager Mehran who had just returned after an absence of some years having been the manager when the restaurent was first opened.
