Interesting historic restaurant, good location and excellent food featuring Normandy specialities - well worth a visit.

The staff was nice, and food was fancy. The fried potatoes were overcooked, mostly brown, and burger bread was boring. Very nice staff, helpful, nice and clean toilet and the price was ok.

Visited here with my wife and two boys who are burger fans. I had the mixed grill and my boys had burgers all were good. Overall an enjoyable ‘casual’ evening with informal food and quick and friendly service

beautiful personal, beautiful atmosphere and amazing eating! the ingredients of eating were fresh and local. we ate flat-spizza, black Angus-Steak, ice and mousse au chocolat. we will definitely visit there again!

had a great meal here. Entrecôte was so delicious that was meat from a local metzger and served with homemade frits. the chef even made me pfeffer sauce, which was not on the menu! this family company made us very welcome and...we will be back next time in fougères

a small bistro with a table inside and the rest on the square. we choose to sit inside and follow the owner/cook-hole. I love the atmosphere. my man said his pig was the best he had ever eaten and was my steak (charlorais bark). we talked with the cook after a very friendly man and woman team. can not wait to go back a day!

We had the burger and a pizza both lovely. Very smooth house wine. The staff make it an enjoyable experience lovely waitress and very jolly chef. We always struggle to find places open in Fougeres in the week and were pleased to discover...this place. Judging by other peoples' reaction to the food it's very popular. We will be back .

We went there with our baby last week. I think they didn't like that we were with our baby because they gave us the worst table even when we were alone in the restaurant. Once that we have sat, the owner say to us that it was not possible to lunch inside with the stroller, and if we want to lunch there, it must be at the terrace. We have been waiting for 15 minutes to be attended and it was to late to look for another restaurant so we accepted to be moved to the terrace ( I repeat: we were the only table occupied inside the restaurant.) The food itself was very very average, the wine options...(I said options?) The price expensive for this service...Not recommended

What a very pleasant discovery. Looking for somewhere for lunch we stumbled upon Le Bistro by chance and were pleased that we did. A small but very cute restaurant with a good choice on the menu including many pizzas. I ordered from the plat de...jour, the salad with lardons to start with was excellent followed by belly pork and chips and salad. Again, a very decent meal full of flavour and beautifully cooked. My wife went for the quatre fromages pizza and it was also very pleasant. Shame we were driving as the choice of wines and draft beers was excellent and would have enhanced an already very pleasant experience.
