"Beautiful evening spent in this restaurant that serves refined and seasonal cuisine, in a pleasant setting of old stones and olive trees. The quality of the dishes varies a bit (supple on the duck, much more for the daube) but we still remain satisfied with the whole. The complete evening menu (entrance, dish, dessert) is 49€. The wines of the estate, including Chardonnay, are good. The service is impeccable."

"we know the turkey very well, we have lunch or dinner many times. Two years ago, meals were uneven, but today the kitchen really improved, it's always delicious. We dined here to the holy valentine, the whole menu was excellent. this week we had lunch there and the dishes and desserts were very good again. However, the big negative point of this restaurant is waiting. the service is rather pro, but apparently it does not follow in the kitchen. We waited for more than half an hour for our dishes, and there was a mistake in desserts, at lunch before taking back the work, it's awkward. If the wait was less long, we'll put 5 on a certainty!"

"We had a wonderful time and the owners are truly wonderful people who go to great lengths for their customers as well as to showcase and maintain this historic place. Thank you very much for your welcome and see you soon to see you again and spend the night in your magnificent home! Alice Ps: I can understand that everyone has their own tastes but I really don't understand how some people can be so slanderous! In this case it is better to look elsewhere and avoid wasting time posting unhealthy opinions, hidden behind a screen. How sad ! Finally, for our part, we can't wait to return to Clos des Capucins!"

"managed to try most restaurants in the environment before they return to our favorite Vieux clocher and it not disappointed. about 3 miles outside of barjac in the village st privat de champclos the location in a converted monastery (I think, . is very picturesque. they always seem to be full so they have to reserve. the 3 course set menus are 23€ or 35€, we went for the 23 and it was excellent. a tart with chicken curry and salat for starter, filet mignon with a senf sauce for main course and panacotta for dessert. in my view, they are more specialized with their appetizers and desserts, which all appear homemade. they tend to be fed well, but not filled after dinner. if they are anglo saxon, they can find some of the meats a little under boiled (like the ones who prefer it, but ask them to cook it 'well made' (with raised eyebrow! . large service the best restaurant we can find for 25 miles."
