"After a long day travelling we thought we wanted a quick meal. However our Airbnb host recommended this place and wow what a delight. The menu is small but with huge variety. The two of us enjoyed langoustines, goats cheese mouse, veal and Dorado. Plus the most delightful desserts which I won’t describe as it would spoil the surprise. Simply wonderful."

"We were seated in what felt like a corridor with only 2 other tables nearby, so zero atmosphere. We both had the “tapas” starter which was a strange combo of different cuisines (samosa, onion ring, mozzarella stick, chicken wing) with a pot of cold BBQ sauce. Odd but not totally awful. The main course was the biggest disappointment I have chosen this dish every time I have eaten here, but this time the duck in honey sauce was terrible. The duck fat hadn’t been rendered, the duck was sinewy chewy and there was just that and a mountain of chips. The sauce was as lovely as ever, but that was it. When this was raised with the staff, they couldn’t have looked less bothered. No discount, or alternative, was offered. We decided against dessert and coffee, paid up and left. Very disappointing evening. After lots of visits, we won’t be in a hurry to go back."

"passing to the chestnut with my mother, we decided to have lunch in this Pizzeria-Crêperie of the city center. Very practical and friendly staff who wanted to install a parasol, I ordered a large salad made of (I found two hair) that I had to complete after by a galette, because I did not find the salad sufficiently consistent for a main dish. It's okay, it at least made me test their cakes and I was at least hungry for dessert! The salad was good, not extraordinary but very correct, on the other hand, I was disappointed by the cake (I had taken the potato, the fresh cream, emmental and I had asked without bacon), the dough was correct but no more, but great disappointment on the potatoes that had the taste of canned potatoes, it was not fresh, which is very bad because the potatoes were not easy to eat. What fortunately took in all this is that the pretty waitress made a commercial gesture by offering us a coffee and a cocktail of fruit (very good) that we had taken, after they told him about the hair found in the salad. I publish this notice to help you improve, pursue in all cases and perhaps soon! ps: it's a tip, stop telling customers to every critic that you're criticized for that is the first time we were told in 25 years, 27 years, 28 years, etc. all restaurants say that every time, but we know very well that it is wrong, and it is annoying, in addition to denouncing a lack of humility. Everyone makes mistakes and receives criticism, we must accept it, there is only the way we can progress!"

"Do you want to be insulted by an unbelievably rude and impolite middle aged women who knows exactly what she is doing to try to annoy you? Then visit this restaurant. A reluctance to provide a carafe of tap water, “We always this excuse have a problem with the water”, and yet other tables have it!! Is it because she is trying to upsell “….you can buy a bottle of still or sparkling here…” . And is it because we are English that she pretends not to understand a single word we speak in our passable French accent and so lapses into her passable English, or is she just anti-English ? Well we hear she’s rude to many of her customers, English and French alike, and heard an example of that as we sat contemplating how bad this experience was going to turn out to be. I can’t comment on the quality of the Moules et frites we were trying to order how indistinct in French can that be, particularly seeing as it was writ large on a ‘specials’ board? as we decided to leave the establishment without notice. Our daughter and son- in -law who speak excellent French have had this experience twice ..”we gave her another chance” but no, the insolent rude front-of-house wife of the owner we guess appears to be always on form. A place to avoid."
