that is our second attempt to make a review. the first was a one-star rating that was filed, but then deleted after it reflected overnight. our main theme was the cool of greeting and the general lack of warmth and service attention. but the food was good....that the welcome and the service was warmer, it would have been at least a 4 stars. go out for a meal must have at least three elements to be a success. welcome, good service and good food. if nothing is true at all, then it spoils the overall experience. giving a first star was hard, but it shows that the experience could and should have been much better.

We have eaten many times over the years but unfortunately had found the food very average and quality poor. After reading a recent article it seemed they had new owners and the chef had worked with Pierre Koffmann the 3 star chef we thought we were in for a gastronomic treat, how wrong we were. The food I can honestly say was just not good and not worth the money. The foie gras was horrible, was oxidised and old and had been frozen. The veal chop I ordered Medium rare and was served a thin T bone of veal which was very much overcooked. I almost felt sorry for the waiter, he said he told the chef to cook it medium rare. Other dishes were of a similar standard. The best dish was the dauphinois...

5th but the last time! We really looked forward to our meal out without the kids at a restaurant which we would have always recommended to friends but unfortunately NOT ANYMORE! First impressions Upon being seated after getting my wife her drink I had to wait an age to be asked for my own order even though there was only 3 tables of customers. When asked for our food order we said that we weren 't having starters just mains to which we were told that it would be a long wait going straight to mains. A very strange answer! Food Bread Butter This used to be lovely but now to go with the lovely bread instead of the previous home made pepper Butter they are trying to pass off FAKE SPREADABLE BUTT... Speisekarte ansehen
