Really enjoyed the meal here while visiting Chartres. It 's a French Indian restaurant without the choice we 'd expect in the UK but it was still a good meal and we both enjoyed what we ate. Loved the cocktail Pona

I will surely come back. food an dservice are excellent. I am impressed because this restaurant is quite new in town I will recommend to have dinner there.even at noon you can enjoy they have open air seated too. Quite lovely. See you guys and continue like this

I live in Chartres,and have never got round to going there..after reading your reviews, I finally went!Wow! I have travelled in India many times..I have eaten in the other Indian restaurants here,but without doubt this is the most authentic Indian/Pakistani food.. absolutely excellent!

Was unsure at first at how Indian the food would actually be. It was excellent, the staff were polite and nice! The atmosphere and vibes were good and I would recommend this place to anybody if you're looking for a real authentic Indian restaurant with reasonable prices! On a very cold night we were welcomed warmly by the Maitre d' who spoke English. Attention to detail seems to be the mantra. Drinks were brought without delay and our food arrived shortly after. The €16,50 menu is excellent value with a wide choice of starters and main courses with appropriate accompaniments. All of the dishes were well presented and correctly spiced. The Halva which I had for dessert was probably the best I have tasted in France!

This was our first visit to Charentes so walked in to the town and came across Le Shalimar As I love Indian food and the tables were on the pedestrian area I live that Service was good I had sheek kabab a bit tasteless to be honest I also had beef madras for my main again it was like beef with a curry sauce there was no spice to it left disappointed as I said I love Indian food But the service was good please don’t let this put you off my wife really enjoyed hers so it might have just been a one off Staff are very nice I would come again and try something different

My wife and I came across let Salinas on a Sunday stroll around old chartres town. We earmarked as a possible for our evening meal. On return to our hotel we checked ked it out on tripadvisor and we saddened to see such good reviews.We have just returned and I an safely say that it was as good a curry meal as I can remember.There were some differences to what we expect in England but that did not detract from wonderfully cooked and presented foodIt was far from the chilli heat we have become used to but the flavours were authentic and subtle.Very good value. It was fairly quiet but Chartres on an early September Sunday evening seemed almost deserted ALL the restaurant s were quit. Speisekarte ansehen
