"You want a constructive opinion, here it is: refuse to welcome people to your institution because they are alone, while there are still tables available, I call it discrimination! PS: not able to answer your comment, I allow myself to do it here. There was indeed a table occupied by a 16 gentleman alone, not tonight. I guess your quota was reached. And there was at least 1 table of 2 free at the time I passed in addition to the other reserved tables. I had exactly the same problem the day before at one of your colleagues in a neighbouring town who had the honesty to tell me. I don't think that's normal, but apparently in high season, it seems that it's generalized."

"Perfect. The welcome is very warm and friendly and the dishes are homemade and delicious. The owner of this restaurant (who is also the cook) is charming and is keen to welcome and serve her customers well. We have rarely experienced such service and the prices remain very reasonable. We will come back. Also note the homemade jams which are remarkable. The banana one is exceptional...Thank you for this good time."

"We stopped at La Bascule for a drink, and decided to return for lunch after a walk around the harbour. The lady owner was lovely and so helpful. The menu is small, but very reasonably priced. We ordered our meal, but then became concerned as so many more people seemed to be eating at a nearby location. We did a quick check of TA, and La Bascule had better reviews. Our meal arrived, and was excellent and clearly home cooked. I had the lasagne which was delicious and home made, and a huge plate of salad. My husband had the fish cassoulet which he said was absolutely delicious. Also, real chips made from potatoes, not frozen fluff!! We had been in France for 12 days, this was our last meal before catching the ferry home, and not only was it the best meal, it was also the cheapest. Why there weren't more customers, I really don't know. It was fantastic!"

"We've been here for years, summer and winter. and the atmosphere is at every time different, like the sea that is omnipresent in the environment of this restaurant. in summer, you prefer the terrace after an aperitif animated by a dj. in winter you prefer the high room with panoramic sea views a few meters away. In high swelling and tide, it's magical. the few are the beach restaurants on the Norman coast that offer a beautiful map, seafood and menus of less euros. with always quality at the rendezvous, affordable prices. here you do not enjoy the exceptional view (one of the most beautiful Norman coasts) to increase prices. on the map we have almost tested everything. the calf head is perfect, don't hesitate to ask for the fish of the day, or the diesppoise potato. The eight are Veule-les-Roses, right next door. the seafood tray is correct, but deserves to be a little more copied and particularly diversified. For dessert, I have a preference for calvados. bruss, here we always spend a good time and a few nights there is an animation, a show in the large room on the ground floor that we neglected. not count the casino for the amateurs that we are not. fortunately that this place exists"

"I went there a few times in the afternoon for a drink or a little sweet break, and there's little time to eat one night. Friendly room and decor, young server very friendly and convenient with a commercial gesture regarding the cooking of mussels that was not top. It made me go back without a problem. See you soon"
