Normally love this pub but apparently the closing time is up to the bar staffs discretion. 10.40pm this evening despite numerous people waiting at the bar.

A nice welcome and a good selection of drinks. A patio outside to watch the world go by at to relax and enjoy your drink. Well worth the stop and I will return.

We visited this on a Sunday evening, Couldn’t believe the bar staff were sitting on the floor behind the bar on there Phones. It’s a quirky type of bar , drinks was ok. Speisekarte ansehen

A charming and traditionally decorated English pub with with very welcoming landlords who clearly have a deep understanding of hospitality and food service. The beers and food are consistently excellent. My wife and I are so pleased to have finally found an Ashtead pub that can deliver on all fronts and all served alongside a wood burning fireplace Speisekarte ansehen

We had a family and friends baby shower at the leg. Nat was extremely helpful from answering many of our questions before the day and then being incredibly accommodating with all of the dietary requirements! We had a fantastic stress free time and we cannot thank Nat and the team enough for everything they helped us do! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the party was a big hit!

Six of us ate here yesterday lunchtime, sitting in the tidy, warm garden, with tables spaced out just so. Extremely obliging landlord Aunty Granty, runs a friendly well paced ship and allowed us to park a couple of cars in the spacious car park while we walked to the Langley Vale Wood and back pre-lunch. Simple yet adequate post lockdown menu saw us choosing ribs and tasty burgers. Well cooked and speedily served by friendly, efficient staff. Certainly worth a look in if you're in the Ashstead neck of the Downs

I recently organised lunch for several separate and socially distanced groups of cyclists for a lunchtime pit-stop with staggered arrival/ departure times to comply with rule of 6and social distancing requirements. Natalie was very helpful with arrangements providing a choice very well separated inside and sheltered outside seating. There is a lot of space both inside and outside. A choice of hearty and good value sandwiches were made available (with prior arrangement) and riders were generally very pleased with the food, drink and service. Speisekarte ansehen
