"Trovandoci per un weekend in zona con amici, abbiamo prenotato in questo storico locale per il pranzo domenicale. Siamo stati assegnati alla saletta superiore ovviamente completa in ogni posto dove abbiamo accusato un forte disagio causato dal vociare dei commensali presenti che creava qualche difficoltà a conversare tra noi, detto ciò i piatti rispecchiano sicuramente la tradizione, fatti con cura e molto gustosi, forse mi sarei aspettato qualcosa in più nell’antipasto ma il maiale è magnificato in ogni modo egregiamente dall’antipasto ai secondi, buono il loro vino sfuso così come i dolci tra cui un cannolo buonissimo, il servizio è stato attento e veloce e il conto assolutamente onesto per quanto consumato."

"The food here is in another league! It is both excellent and imaginative. I can't think of many (if any) other restaurants in the area, the carrob, truffle and walnut ravioli (which is delicious) and white chocolate dessert with campari sauce and balls of intense campari aroma that burst into the mouth. The meat was also excellent. We look forward to our next visit!"

"As a group we were looking for a place to try authentic Sicilian food. This tenuta was recommended by our hotel owner and we were very happy with the experience overall. Driving to the tenuta, one can enjoy a beautiful ride away from the chaos on the Autostrata and Strade Statale. There is ample space for parking and the short stroll to the tenuta was beautiful (lovely view and quiet). Upon arriving we met a lovely lady, who showed us where they keep the cows. We fed the cows and a man explained to us the process of ricotta. Then we were guided inside and set on an L Shaped table. We started off with their house wine, excellent! Then the food started coming out from the kitchen and it was neverending. We ate so much and everything was divine! Everything fresh, tasty and for a cheap price (32 E per person with soft drinks) Some of the food we tasted was: garlic bread and sundried tomatoes bread, marinated artichokes , garlic and olives, mozzarella with apricots and ala caprese, local torta/ focaccia (heavenly), salami, cheese and warm ricotta (the one we saw during the process explanation), grilled sausages and 2 types of meat, ravioli and last but not least the cannolli alla pasticerra and ricotta! Divine!!!! After finishing we were offered a liquor or a coffee . It was a very pleasant experience and we highly recommend to do it. It wasn't just eating authentic Sicilian food,.it was a unique exxursion/experince. Thank you!"
