"As an enthusiastic foody I was looking forward to my visit, unfortunately whilst the setting was lovely, the fact that there were two Celiacs in the party appeared not to have been taken into consideration. We always warn restaurants and I would expected the chef to have prepared some gf alternatives. As it was a large portion of the menu was unavailable to us. In addition I’m afraid that some of the flavour combinations were unexciting, the trout starter was bland, Lastly smoking seems to be permitted in this (outside) venue, all in all disappointing."

We had great expectations when we reserved for this restaurant but were sadly disappointed. The food is ok but not surprising, Wine was alright. Table ware was simple and service not consequent varying from very polite to ignorant.

The food was very good but the seafood risotto was too fishy. And the service was much slower. We waited 30-40 minutes for our cheese plate after finishing our main meal. The timing on our first visit was much more appropriate and balanced.
