"I have now been to this place twice for lunch and I thoroughly recommend it!!! It has a very unusual decor with many things for sale.It has an inside and outside eating area and both are charming. They offer a simple but delicious menu for 12,50 euros Monday to Friday lunchtime and a little more expensive in the evenings ,Saturdays and bank holidays. The menu consists of a tartine with topping side salad, homemade desert and a coffee. My tartine involved magret de canard,potatoes and onions confit: delicious and well seasoned so I never needed any salt or pepper!! I then had a tarte tatin with apples and caramel au beurre salé. There is the chef and his wife and the service is great !! There are also a list of wines by the class or bottle. Make your way there ,you won't be disappointed!!!"

"Idéalement placée, au port de la Hume, peinture jaune, aisément repérable, l’ancienne cabane ostréicole reste une valeur sûre ! Ils s’agrandissent, s’embellissent, se modernisent année après année en offrant toujours une bonne qualité de restauration dans leur spécialité, huîtres, moules, écrevisses………. J’ai pris les moules frites du chef, 18€50, la crème brûlée 9€, un verre de rosé, un choix rituel. Pas de surprise, quantité, qualité. Ils sont bons sur ce qu’ils savent faire. Emplacement, service, fraîcheur des produits. On ne boudera pas notre plaisir, on reviendra toujours pour peu qu’ils tiennent leurs prix, on reviendra , mais surtout à la mi-saison , juin et septembre"

"So, I came back, as suggested by the new proprietor and the opportunity for a day on the Arcachon Basin. Yes, the restaurant has rnov, enlarged and we lose the rustic and authentic ct of the wine hut. the menu also has a lot of volu, the dishes are bistronomic with research at the level of flavors (panais/caf but not forcment of rvlations. difficult to modify the contents of a seafood plate when you do not support the huts. not too many flavors or rather drizzy changes. Anyway, the friendly but slow service, I remain on my hunger and my old memories dating from 2013 and dcrites below. a pretty chic restaurant with no guind that resembles a large wine-growing hut of the extrieur. pretty view of the basin from the terrace or the vranda. service is quick and discreet. the products are fresh and cooked with art and simplicit. You can take a look in the kitchen! menu 24 has delighted everyone with 4 components! fish soup, fresh fish and well cooked; little dception: the gsars of the landese salad really cooked too much. suggestions of the original day. "Gujan Mestras has lots of restaurants to choose from and we picked Bistro 50 for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by what was offered. It is a very friendly and relaxed establishment with a very interesting menu and good wine selection. The oysters were an excellent starter with a pork patty on the side making an interesting combination. The langoustines were really great with the risotto. The finale of crime brûlée in individual eggshells was a real surprise. An enterprising chef with a very friendly team working in very pleasant surroundings. Yes we enjoyed our visit and recommend it as a place not to be missed. There is ready packing outside. Will definitely return."
