Loughton Grill House

We were recommended Nandos by Nory from Highland Travel and we were not disappointed.

The restaurant is a real find with authentic food served at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

The food was excellent but the service was slow bearing in mind when we arrived it was empty. We thought it was pricey.

Excellent food, good menu selection and very good service. Very spacious inside and plenty of parking, worth the drive if you're not local to Lougton

Lovely food. Superb chops. Friendly waiters. Restaurant too bright. Lighting needs to be dimmed as it's just a very bright white room. Will definitely go back.

Sadly the portion sizes didn't justify the prices .. we ordered a mixed meat assortment and for £18.50...1 chop and a few bits on a dinner plate is not what I was expecting :

Food was very good. The restaurant has plenty of parking and is well lit as opposed to some dark restaurants. Little bit pricey but if there's a few of you can be reasonable.

The food was exceptional in its flavour and quality. We had the potato cakes with chan masala and lamb chops to start. Kadai lamb and south Indian railway curry for mains. The keema nan was off the chart excellent. Authentic Indian food which was spiced to perfection and not like your everyday run of the mill Indian. When we went there were two large groups Indian families which says it all. Service was functional and efficient if a little lacking in warmth didn’t see a single smile from a waiter

We were a large group, who had booked weeks in advance. The food was good, but the service was incredibly slow. It took an hour to receive our starters after ordering, and another hour and a half after ordering mains (why weren't both orders taken at the same time? to receive our mains. It was a Saturday early evening. Our party arrived at 1730 and left at 2115. Way too long to wait as we had somewhere else to go to afterwards. We felt that the staff were just trying to encourage us to buy more drinks whilst we waited. Nothing wrong with attentive staff, but nearly 4 hours to finish our meal was unacceptable.
