The food was delicious, but I felt deceived when my pint was not filled to the top and the waitress tried to add ice to the wine to make it seem like a full serving.

Great outdoor space They have made it look really pretty surrounded by carefully maintained and nurtured plants. Good menu with quality food at a good value. Friendly staff

Used this place numerous times lovely unpretentious pub with a very welcoming atmosphere dog and child friendly good selection of beers and the food is excellent definitely recommend this place. Thai monkfish curry was amazing Hard working excellent staff too well done to all the staff

Great vibes, great beer, great pub. Not been to this pub in over 30 years. Decided to go there before eating at Quindici, glad we did. Pub was packed with a great mix of youngsters and old uns like me. The beer was superb, had my 3 favourites, Landlord, Ghostship and Bombardier. I will come back.

Had a lovely lunch but where we sat inside all we could hear was the kitchen staff shouting and swearing. The language used was awful and some would say offensive. The chef even came out shouting at his colleague. I had prawn sandwich with salad and coleslaw. I actually had to look for the coleslaw. Speisekarte ansehen

Have been a customer for almost 20 yrs. Visited twice in last 2 weeks and sadly both not good. Ignored at the bar, locals came in and were served 1st. No big deal really. Bar staff rude . Bar sticky as were tables. Staff outside kept asking if our glasses were done even though we both had half a glass left. Won't be returning

I attempted to reach out to the owner, James, via messages and emails for three days, but received no response. It is disappointing that James showed no concern or manners in addressing my feedback. The staff at the pub are lovely, but they deserve better management. I have no plans to return to this establishment in the future.

My wife and I went to this restaurant for a light lunch and chose it because of its good sandwich selection. We were greeted warmly and served promptly. We both ordered tuna and mayo sandwiches with salad and shared a portion of chips. It is often disappointing to find that the bread is not fresh and the salad is not appetizing. However, this was not the case here! The bread was thick and fresh, the filling was flavorful and plentiful, the salad was fresh with a tasty dressing, and the chips were delicious. Additionally, I was thrilled to find a pub that offers a variety of high-quality real ales, as someone from an older generation. The food was of excellent quality and value. Congratulatio...
