"disappointed by this restaurant, however, announcing its willingness to offer good inventive cuisine...On that evening, the quality was at least required and the inventiveness was very low: we had chosen, among other things, two main dishes (magret of duck sweet sour sauce with sesame seeds and presa of Iberian pork confited with balsamic vinegar. )The magret (which looked rather like duck net) was medium, with lots of nerve and pieces at different cooking levels and the sesame grains that had not been roasted...The presa had more taste but were not worth the hint and the traditional hazelnut aroma of this piece of meat was rather weak. But most importantly, all meat dishes on the menu had the same accompaniment (we looked at what other guests had ordered!): small flan of vegetables with a rosemary branch, two potato slices and a half small tomato with a little mozzarella without taste passed to salamander. a mixture of taste that did not match the meat ordered. Not to mention an acting staff who had not been trained and, therefore, not effective despite goodwill."

So obviously the place is nice to dine in terasse on a village square the cuisone is excellent but it is especially the reception and the extreme kindness of the owners who makes the difference

The products are fresh. the sea boards declination of delicious salmon, idem for that of vegetables and meat. the wines of the baux are at correct prices. Careful staff. Nice and attentive boss. If you take the menu of the day the quality price ratio is good. A little more expensive, it's normal. but of quality. Go back.

back to maussane we visited last year. this year gastronomic stage at the restaurant the subtaloun well located on the main square of the village. The dishes are very good but the portions a little too copyy for a dinner. may be the leader could reduce the quantities and reduce the price. table to be recommended nevertheless.
