We visited with family from Vancouver, the service was ok but we were very disappointed with the quality of the food, we found the main meal and dessert quite bland, also we couldn’t have a decent conversation because the music was loud, definitely won’t be returning Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30

We had a family get together and we’re all disappointed. The service was ok except for a mixup with the drinks order. We were seated directly under heaters which made it uncomfortably hot. Like a previous review there was a smell of drains, and the music was very loud making it difficult to have a conversation. The main meals weren’t very hot and not really worth the money. We found the sweets a bit bland. We definitely won’t be coming back. Service: Dine in

Very friendly welcome from reception. Friendly staff all round. Wine was extremely expensive and I didn't get to see what the price was per glass before ordering. I'm certainly not tight but 15 pounds for a dry rose is silly . I'd only expect to pay this is a 5 start hotel. I wouldn't mind paying this for a premium rose like whispering Angel or rock ,Or Mirabeau. Starter was lovely, meats and cheese. My carbonara wasn't hot enough but as they were so polite I didn't want to upset them.

Bitterly disappointed with lunch yesterday. Ordered Salmon Panzanella, what arrived was an overcooked salmon fillet on cold cut tomatoes, on a plate drizzled with balsamic glaze. Might I suggest the chef takes a look at at Gino's recipe before serving that to paying customers. On hindsight I should have complained...but I thought a lot more of my family than the food so chose not to spoil the occasion. It was a great shame, also the lasy who served us may wish to smile once in a while, she was extremely dour...
